Company stands behind their products and customer service is top notch
We purchased the Mouse Blocker Pro for our new car in January of 2024. While the Mouse Blocker Pro was definitely deterring our rodent activity, we began noticing the device would not turn off when we drove the vehicle, so we reached out to customer support. After a brief discussion and running a couple tests, it was determined that another model of mouse blocker would be more appropriate for our vehicle. Our customer service representative, Matthew, provided outstanding customer support, and explained everything to us in detail. Mouse Blocker stands behind their products, which is rare in today's world. Thank you for an excellent customer experience, and top notch product.

So far so good!
We had been spending about $85.00 a week having wires replaced under the hood of our car. We spent another $85.00 on the Mouse Blocker and have not had any problems since. The mint deterrents did not work at all, by the way.

I tried EVERYTHING. This changed our lives.
I don't like reading crazy sounding reviews that seem like they are written by the company that sells the product; I have to make an exception in this case and write one of my own. We moved to the top of a mountain this past March, and no one warned us about all of the mice. There aren't enough predators to keep them at bay, and they frigging INFESTED our cars in the driveway after a month of moving in. By the time we noticed, the mice had taken insulation and padding from the seats and created huge nests in the engine bay, trunk, dash, EVERYWHERE. We freaked out since it was our first time experiencing anything like this and read online for solutions. We battled them *all* year up until last month when we bought these MouseBlockers. We tried every stupid thing you've ever read on the internet to prevent mice. Irish Springs soap (they ATE it), mothballs (they didnt mind - we wanted to die), pure peppermint oil (seemed to work for short periods of time, but they immediately came back even with constant spraying. This also made our eyes water we sprayed it so strong). I finally resorted to live traps. I would catch a mouse here and there and take them down the mountain and release them. the problem with this is that if there's 1 mouse, there's thousands. You could catch a mouse every day, and there's thousands more to replace it. Do you want to kill or live trap mice every day forever?I also read online and youtube about sonic devices and how they don't actually work for mice, so I was highly skeptical these would work. I was at my last nerve with mice running all over the car while I drove down the mountain so I was willing to give anything a try. THANKFULLY I can say that after 1.5 months of using this, the mice are GONE! I knew it was working the first weekend we installed the because we would see mouse droppings every single morning in the cupholders and dash as well as live mice in the traps. This was instantly gone after the first weekend. Now that it's been almost 2 months with them, it's all just starting to feel like a bad dream and I can finally review this. I can't recommend these highly enough. For anyone that knows the feeling of seeing mice dart around the car while you drive, you know that it's unnerving experience. The install is super easy. Make sure you try to find a spot somewhat close to the battery because of the short wires, CLEAN the flat spot you pick with de-greaser and then alcohol, and use a high temp heavy duty double sided tape like loctite red. Use 4 strips (2 vertical following the side mounts - 2 horizontal along the fins). You can also use the holes and screws but it's harder to find a mount point and possibly have to drill. Also, put it in a spot where you know you'll get maximum reverberation in the engine bay (don't put it next to or against a padded insulation piece).I know this was long, but it really saved us big time. Luckily the mice had just damaged insulation/seats etc and hadn't ruined the engine wiring yet except for my blinker light wires. We have them set to the highest setting (loud and blinking LED's). I can hear them, our younger friends can definitely hear them, but older people can't hear that frequency as well. As long as the mice stay away, I don't care!

DOES NOT WORK!! Don’t waste your money!
Camping in the forest and have a mouse problem in my engine bay of my truck. I’ve had it installed for over a month to one battery. Popped the hood this morning to remove the solar charger from the second battery and what’s staring at me a fricking MOUSE! This thing is total BS. I was interested if it worked I would purchase the larger one for my camper and the garage at home. The only frequency they have is to collect my money, not get rid of mice. Is it supposed to make sound?? Mine doesn’t make any noise.

Everything you want
I live on ten acres of woods surrounded by farm fields. As you can imagine, we had a lot of with mice and squirrels in our vehicles and under the hood. We found the MouseBlocker Pro on Amazon and decided to give it a try.It was a simple installation and easy instructions. I haven’t had a mouse in my car since we turned it on. We gave it a couple of months of testing since our critter activities change with the seasons. It was working so good that we ordered another one for my husbands car. Unfortunately this one as very weak and didn’t work like it should.I called Mouseblocker and spoke to Matt in customer service. He assured me that they would replace it immediately. However, since it was a Friday afternoon, it would not ship till Monday. On Tuesday, Amazon delivered a new one to us. My husband installed it immediately and it works great. Just like my first one. We still have one more vehicle to install mouse blocker in and we might just put their under hood units in our cars also.A great product and great customer service. What more do you want in a company? Thanks, Matt for all your help.

Strong Peace of Mind
Purchased my mouse blocker and after a few months the sound was muffled. Spoke to Matt at Mouse Blocker and he walked through a few steps to came to the conclusion it was defective. He replaced my unit immediately with a new one and since then I have bought 3 additional units that are working perfectly fine. I have also recommended the Mouse Blocker to two coworkers who have purchased one and have told me they was pleased. My wife's coworker has made an inquiry after hearing about her having one and going through the experience of having electrical problems do to mice gnawing at her wires causing a $3000 repair bill.I highly recommend it because I work in wooded areas and the customer service is outstanding.Thank you

Only time will tell
I bought the mouse blocker to prevent rodents from entering my engine bay in my RV. I currently have no issues with rodents, this is for preventative maintenance. I found the wires were too short for where I wanted to place it so I extended the wires. Can’t deduct any stars for now. I will update this review should things change.Update 7/10/24: After 3 days the LED strobe lights stop working, the ultrasound is still functional. I have contacted the Mouse Blocker and still waiting for a reply. Let's see how this goes and I will update this review. For now I have deducted 2 stars because of this early failure.

Don't bother
I bought the mains powered one which I stuck under my bonnet the next morning the mice had chewed through the cable, I phoned the supplier and asked if he'd take it back ,he said no I'll send you some special tape to fix it and all will be OK, the following two mornings and all the tape had gone, so I binned the whole thing, absolutely useless.

Does not seem to work.....
My car was killed due to rats chewing wires in the engine. I fitted this and now, 6 weeks later, the same has happened again. I can only presume that this device has not deterred the rats from entering the engine compartment.
