Lipo-Real differentiator at decent price premium
My recent review of Dr. Mercola Organic Vitamin C Acerola Cherry commented about how challenging it can be to rate vitamin C supplements, as well as how to determine how much vitamin C to consume on a daily basis with respect to whole food versus synthetic isolate supplements. I'm still on my journey to better understand the differences between synthetic "isolate" vitamins versus whole food vitamins, but the sudden unavailability of Twinlab Daily One Caps multivitamin I had been taking up until several years ago actually worked out in my favor because it caused me to start taking a closer look at supplement facts. Some reviewers here commented about the recommended single capsule dosage size of this Kala Health product, and I see this on the product labeling alongside the common warning "do not exceed the recommended dosage", but it doesn't explain why, and the product description here goes as far as to say "1 capsule per day is more than enough to sustain high vitamin C levels." I'm not sure about that. The product description here describes this product as providing "Ester C 1000mg capsules", but the product labeling seems to be saying 950mg instead, split between 600mg liposomal Ester-C (calcium ascorbate and metabolites) and 350mg ascorbic acid. I've used both Ester-C and liposomal C in the past, and Kala Health claims that this product is the first which combines these two. According to the product labeling, "Ester-C has been transformed into true dry liposomes using the unique Lipo-Real technology...the stable, dry liposomal powder easily forms true liposomes in the intestinal system, leading to superior uptake and superior biological activity." The kalahealth dot eu weppage for liposomal vitamin C provides a little more information. Unlike the product description here, which states that "traditional forms of Vitamin C can cause digestive discomfort in some individuals due to their acidic nature...however, our Liposomal Ester C is formulated to be gentle on the stomach, reducing the risk", the kalahealth dot eu webpage additionally mentions that "consumers may experience gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, flatulence, abdominal cramps, or diarrhea when taking excessively high doses...experiencing gastrointestinal symptoms is a sign of bowel tolerance, indicating that the maximum effective dose of vitamin C has been reached..."liposomal vitamin C is better tolerated and absorbed by consumers compared to pure ascorbic acid." Since I haven't had any issues consuming two capsules per day the last few weeks, I will continue to do so. Some might be interested in knowing, despite my habit of largely ignoring percent daily value percentage values disclosed on product labeling, because these don't mean much, that the product labeling makes use of "%RI (Reference Intake" values whereas the kalahealth dot eu webpage instead makes use of "DAI" (Daily Adequate Intake) values. While both indicate 437% for the aforementioned 350mg ascorbic acid, values curiously aren't provided for the aforementioned 600mg liposomal Ester-C (calcium ascorbate and metabolites), arguably the reason why someone would pay a premium for this product, which I find to be quite reasonable when considering the currently discounted price.

It’s vitamin c
The capsules are pretty small. That’s helpful for people who don’t like big pills. It was not easy to swallow, it floated around way to much. If you swallow really fast it’s alright. The capsule is tasteless, so it’s fine to take with water. For those who can’t take true vitamin c, this is not the one for you. Not only Esther C is in it. It also has regular as well. It’s fine for anyone else.

Great Vitamin C product.
This Liposomal Vitamin C is 600 mg of Ester C per capsule and 350 mg of Ascorbic acid and they recommend one cap per day. There is also a small amount (43 mg) of calcium in each capsule. The size of each cap is kind of big but still easy to swallow and there is no after taste. This is a great product to elevate the immune system.

high dose quality Vit C - one daily = 2 months
The ingredients (except for one) are excellent / top quality which is ester / liposomal fast nutrient delivery. The phosphatidylcholine is a high-quality type of phospholipid fat used to createthe liposome spheres. The benefit is that it is the primary building block of cell walls, allowing the sphere to easily fuse with cell membranes and transfer the vitamin Cdeep into the cells for maximum bio-availability and immediate use.PLUS it has numerous additional benefits.A tip of how to test if a dry power is true liposomal is listed on the bottle.> Simply stir some powder in a glass of water where-as true powdered liposomalwill almost immediately form a liposomal solution. The one downside and reason to drop a star is the capsules arehydroxypropyl methylcellulose which is thought to be bad for blood vessels. And this seems a bit pricey

High absorption
These Ester-C Liposomal capsules allow one to absorb much higher amounts of vitamin C than ordinary ascorbic acid vitamin C. The capsules are small and easy to swallow with one capsule providing 1000 mg total vitamin C. Higher levels of C are desirable when one needs to detoxify or wishes to raise their C levels to fight an illness. A good strategy to consider might be to use these capsules periodically but also maintain a daily core supplement of naturally sourced C such as rose hips or acerola. Many in the health community believe a natural form is better utilized, but to raise levels to a Linus Pauling suggested level, one is best off with a liposomal product. I noticed no downside or stomach irritation when using these capsules. They are very good to have on hand.

Seems good
After reading a little about Ester C it seemed like a good vitamin to take. Plus as a bonus this in Liposomal form that is supposed to be good for absorption. I’ve taken the capsule apart and mixed it with water, it dissolved fairly quickly and had no taste. So far everything seem okay with this vitamin.
