It is nice velvet and the color is rich, but I loop through hangs somewhat funny and it's not as wide as I expected from the picture - it's only about a foot wide at the biggest part. More decorative and functional.As and FYI the return for this product is only through USPS and the refund processed when the company receives it. Of course with USPS tracking and delivery information is limited. I would have returned the item but the cost wasn't worth the effort.
