A**N
No weight limit on box or documentation. Supports 180 lbs without issue.
A few months ago, I purchased a collapsing seat like this from a YouTuber's gadget website. There were plenty of similar items on Amazon, but most did not list specs that matched what the YouTube version had. That stool was great and seemed to live up to the reviewer's claims.I was very happy with that stool, and wanted more. This time, I tried Amazon. Comparing the one I have with these two shows they are identical -- same texture patterns, same collapsing mechanism, same ridges, etc. They look like they came from the same factory, or at least are very good clones. The claim of THIS Amazon listing: "The small telescope stool weights only 1.98 lbs, but it can hold up to 600 lbs."The one from YouTube said "Weighing in at just 2.54 pounds"... This tells me that this Amazon version may be different (thinner material). As such, the claim of 600 pounds may be incorrect -- again, nothing on the box or the included instruction sheet give a weight limit. BUYER BEWARE.For the past week, I have used this stool for testing at home. It has held 180 pounds with no issues. As I use it (taking it on bike rides) I will update this review with any issues.
