I have more energy!
When Husband started taking (a different brand of) NAC, his violent, gagging morning cough disappeared right away. I couldn't believe how miraculous that was! I've heard him cough a couple times since he started, only to find out he forgot to take it the day before, which further proves it works. Well, I don't have a cough or trouble breathing or anything, but thought I just as well take NAC simply because it's supposed to be so good for us. The very first day of taking it, I had so much energy and was able to just go nonstop all day, which is so not normal for me. That was just days ago when I took the suggested 2 capsules. Since then, I've forgotten to take 2 and have been taking just 1 and still feel like my energy level is somewhat boosted. I'll take 2 now that I'm reminded of the proper dosage. I will say, however, that Husband's brand has the same amount (750 mg) in just one capsule and I'd prefer to take as few pills a day as possible because all the daily supplements add up.

Smelly, But Effective!
I noticed an immediate improvement in my energy level when I started taking these capsules. I also did not have any migraines or tension headaches while I was taking this supplement and that is absolutely amazing! I feel that these have also helped me breathe easier, especially while sleeping as I don't wake myself up snoring. I am delighted that I started feeling health benefits so quickly after taking these capsules and look forward to even better, long-term benefits going forward! The first thing I noticed when I opened the bottle was a strong, rather unpleasant odor. Luckily, these pills don't really have a flavor or taste on your tongue, but you might want to hold your nose when you open the bottle. The capsules are fairly normal sized and I did not have any difficulty swallowing them. I would recommend placing 1 in your mouth at a time as the outer coating of the capsule does start dissolving when you place it in your mouth and you don't want to taste these!

All-round detox
N-Acetyl Cysteine is one of those nice-to-have supplements -- it's never going to achieve magnesium status for me, but (as someone who hangs out in places where people discuss nootropics and similar supplements) it seems to help people with their energy levels and focus. Whether it is also supporting liver, its purported primary use, is harder to assess: I have no known liver problems.I have been taking one capsule at different times of day to see when it's most effective. I find that I get a slight but perceptible mental and energy boost from just one capsule with no ill effects. I can't detect a smell or taste.I do wonder at the fact that two largeish capsules are required for the suggested 750 mg daily allotment, as most NAC supplements require only a single capsule for a 600 mg dose. This makes me wonder how much filler is here, but since I'm suffering no adverse reactions, I guess the filler isn't causing me any problems.

So far so good.
These are easy to swallow capsules. I’ve read a lot about NAC - this from an NIH article:N-acetyl cysteine (NAC), as a nutritional supplement, is a greatly applied antioxidant in vivo and in vitro. NAC is a precursor of L-cysteine that results in glutathione elevation biosynthesis. It acts directly as a scavenger of free radicals, especially oxygen radicals. NAC is a powerful antioxidant. It is also recommended as a potential treatment option for different disorders resulted from generation of free oxygen radicals. Additionally, it is a protected and endured mucolytic drug that mellows tenacious mucous discharges. It has been used for treatment of various diseases in a direct action or in a combination with some other medications. This paper presents a review on various applications of NAC in treatment of several diseases.

Helps with my speech a bit
I would like to preface this review by noting that I Have never taken any kind of N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) before. The bottle and description state that it supports detoxification and enhances memory and cognition. It also says that it’s supposed to replenish the antioxidant glutathione.I have been taking it for a while now, and I have not noticed any significant improvement when it comes to health related stuff, but I have definitely noticed that I am stammering and not struggling to remember words like I always do. I teach communications so this is a big plus for someone like me who has to get up in front of crowds and make sure I have my stuff together. I would buy this again for this sole purpose if it was not $15 and some change for a month's supply. If you can afford that, and you have issues with “brain fog” I would recommend you check this out.

So far so good !
My friend recommended NAC to me . I started taking it a few days ago , twice a day and so far so gastro problems, no burps, cramps, bloats .We all take it for different reasons and everyone is different so I can only tell you that these seem fresh, uniform in color , smell and taste . The price is good , instead of taking straight up glutathione , NAC is helping the body to make it along with other benefits . My diet is deprived of a lot of foods that contains NAC naturally so I am just trying to supplement it . My only wish was that it wasa 1 a day, but its ok as it says on the bottle you can take it anytime , with and without food .

Fine NAC option; little more expensive than some competing products
I've been taking different NAC supplements for about a year and haven't noticed any significant difference in the way my body feels. Because the effects would take place at the cellular level and benefits are most likely observable over a long period of time (months and years), this does not concern me. The product is based on scientific observations and - much like many similar supplements - anyone taking it does so with a fair amount of faith in long-term results.I have tried three other NAC supplements in the past and this does not differ substantially from the others. There are some interesting products out there that claim different/enhanced benefits, but I prefer taking just the straight NAC (like this one). This appears to be a high quality product, but the cost is also a little higher than competing products I've previously tried.
