Inrecieved a damaged adapter

you won't be able to attach the most important bit - the control unit
I found the desk to to be of decent quality, and having enough space to use as a work desk. Assembly is not too difficult. Will require a helping hand. Instructions are not exactly straightforward.The main issue is the small control unit used to adjust the height. You can't screw the unit into the screwhole with the screws the table came. I've tried a lot. I'd either have to fix with glue or screw new holes or even hammer it in. Also, there is no screw holes for the adapter unit either. I've tried changing screws, deepening the hole. Nothing workedAs a result, I ended up fixing it with super glue which overflowed into one of the buttons, and the buttons won't work. Ofcourse, I'd have to pay for a replacement despite the issue stemming from poor design, but you won't be able to even get one because of a lackluster customer supportOverall, not recommended.
