DELUXE NEEDLEFELTING KIT - includes 20 different colours, Foam Base, Clover Pen & Punch Tools, 2 pcs of Backing Felt & 6 spare Felting Needles The kit contains 20 different colours of 70's (21.5 micron) non-toxic Merino Wools. Suitable for needle-felting, wet-felting and spinning. Each colour is a min of 6gm giving min of 120gm per pack. The colours may vary slightly from those shown depending on availability - the photo however will be a good representation. All wools are sourced from non-mulesed sheep and are colourfast and child safe. A basic needle felting guide sheet is also included. Included are: Clover Felting Tools - Punch Tool & Pen Tool, a Foam Base to work on (approx 7" x 5"), & 2 pcs of A4 Kunin Felt which can be used as a base for Applique Needle Felting. Also included are 6 spare felting needles (size 40 fine). The Punch Felting Tool can be used with 1 to 5 needles. The needles - only come out when the punch action is operated - useful for working with children (supervision is still recommended). Can be locked when not in use. Work on the Felting Foam Block. The reverse of the packet does give brief instructions in using the tool. This tool is brilliant for covering a larger area quicker than the Pen Tool An easy & comfortable tool to work, but remember that because the needles do not protrude, finer work is better done using the Clover pen tool. Always keep the tools vertical - Using at an angle increases the possibility of bending and possibly breaking the needles. This is particularly important when using the Pen Tool as the needs protrude from this tool & when use the protective cover - felting needles are exceptionally sharp and also have barbed sides. You can do much finer work with the Pen Tool by controlling the fibres with then ends of the needles - then finish off using the Punch Tool to cover the area quickly. The tool takes both the Clover replacement needles & standard fine felting needles.
