too hard
This toy is hard plastic, not heavy rubber. Afraid my dig will break a tooth.

It's cute
Both of my dogs loved this toy, while having it the first day there are already teeth makes on it, I would like to point out that as of yet there are truly no indestructible toys. If you have a destroyer, they will find one way or another to destroy the toy, it's what they do. Better a toy than the house... However these tough nylon toys are ones my dogs both prefer, I have an American bully mix and a pitbull mix. They both will go for these because they last longer, where as the other softer toys they test up in a matter of minutes. I would invest in one of these again as they both had fun playing with it and not the softer one I got at the same time too.

Indestructible, yes, but not very enticing
I have a large dog who just tears through chew toys, and, I've had several similar green alligators to this one. However, mostly those had a soft section - perhaps a rubber tail or head. This one is nothing but hard plastic, in once solid piece. As such, you'd probably have to use power tools to break it. But at the same time, it's not much fun to chew on since it doesn't flex or otherwise move, and it's hard to even get a grip. With the other similar toys, it took her awhile to figure out how to play with them, but eventually did and has enjoyed them ever since. With this one, she nosed around for a while but gave up.She may return to it and get some play value eventually, but for now, I have to say it's a failure. I won't give it a bad rating though because that's entirely up to the dog's taste, and this toy is certainly everything it is described to be.

Plastic finish
This dog toy has held up decently to our puppy. After some time, he was able to widdle it down some. The plastic feel was a surprise. Watch your feet if you puppy lights to toss his toys!

Can function as a chew toy or as a treat lick toy
The media could not be loaded. With a design recognizeably resembling a dark green crocodile or alligator, there are grooves and ridges shaped into the body. These ridges and grooves function to help keep dog teeth clean and strong, assuming of course, that the dog does use this toy often enough. Alternately, if you or your dog prefers, dog treat paste or butters can be spread into the grooves and ridges of the toy's back or belly, thus transforming the chew toy into a slow feeder treat toy. It's nice to have both options. This dog chew toy claims to be for aggressive chewers. We have a large breed dog, and she obsessively, aggressively, chews up all her toys. Often within moments of just getting them. That's why anytime we get her a new chew toy, we only ever look for the nearly indestructable kind. This dog chew toy is indeed very solid, rigid, tough, and even kinda heavy, so I would indeed place it within the nearly idestructable category. Granted, not top tier indestructable, but it's still made of very tough and solid material. But keep in mind that no dog chew toy we know of is absolutely indestructable. Please refer to my photos and video for what this chew toy looks like, and how my dog reacted to receiving it. She did like the toy, and did take it and chew on it, but it did not hold her attention like I had hoped. But it is still too early for a solid verdict on this toy's ability to keep my dog's interest. Maybe she was just bored, or too tired, this late in the day. Even if she don't play with it ever again, that would just be her personal preference for what toys she likes, and does not reflect on the quality, general design, or function of this toy. Only on it's ability to interest her. So just keep that in mind, that every dog is different, so they will be interested, or even disinterested, in different things individually. That is why I cannot minus any stars for dog personal toy preferences.Overall, we are satisfied with the design, quality and durability of this dog toy. We hope our dog will regain interest in chewing this toy once she has rested enough. 5 out of 5 stars.

Seems solid so far, but Carter got bored
This is a hard chunk of nylon that Carter hasn't destroyed yet! But he also didn't spend very long with it, perhaps because it doesn't have much give. The very hard material might also be risky for broken teeth, which I know is a concern with real bones. If what you need is something very hard and solid, this seems like a good bet.

Dogs aren't interested
It's definitely tough and durable, but honestly, my dogs don't seem to care for it. I'm not sure if it's just too hard to chew, or if it doesn't smell interesting, or what. They've sniffed it a few times but always go back to their other toys.

Definitly not for aggressive chewers or the least bit industructable
Within 4-5 hours of receiving my 8 month old Presa puppy had it shredded worse then any plush toy, to the point where it was unsafe cutting him and I had to take it away, definitely not as adveratised
