I originally purchased the soda stream and use it religiously. That being said, because of my crazy and hectic work/family life, I often times find myself in and out of the house, with very limited time throughout the day. I have stopped and utilized my soda stream to get my carbonation fixation in check, but found it daunting at times, to just full stop and sit there to make my drinks. I ran across this portable soda stream by chance and boy was I pleased. Not only does it function really well and is super convenient, but the flavors are great. Mix and match and use your imagination a bit to make your favorite tasting drinks, on the go. Highly recommend this product for the everyday individual that loves carbonated drinks but is always on the go.

There are 3 ways this water bottle exploded and the harm cause and could cause.1) The lid/Top for the inn er Co2 chamber turns... the exact way to OPEN the water bottle... meaning you will HAVE to insert a and turn the Co2 cartridge down to make the lid work...HOWEVER, given that they turn the SAME WAY there is no way for pressure to escape, thus over time the pressure will build up and SHOOT the TOP ( which is screwed into the metal chamber that holds the Co2 capsule.MY 1st BEWARE is that the top SHOT off while I was walking but it sounded like a gun shot and the lip popped into the street. I say this because it leads to point two of how dangerous this NON - RETURNABLEbottle is.2) The first time I open it - I followed the directions. SINCE this product "make the bubbles" ( Rapidly ) by twisting the LID/TOP!... and the Lid/Top - screws into the Co2 metal chamber.***Once you twist to close your water bottle it bottles... HOWEVER to then get it to STOP you have to turn it the other way.. Yet because both lid/tops turn the SAME WAY ... you twist of the cute teal out LID/Top THEN the metal Co2 top which .... Exploded water in my face but more dangerously the metal Co2 capsule ( which had clearly MADE all the bubbles for it to explode out and in my face, lol)THE DANGER is that the Co2 Capsule WAS NOT DONE and popped me in the FACE!a) I get it I'm an adult who care if a little metal Co2 cartridge hits me in the face... but what about kids?b) I am an engineer and don't need to explain a mark on my face from a Co2 capsule flying in my face.c) IT is so poorly designed it is dangerous.2.aGiven all I have mentioned about the Lid/TOP and how they screw together, I will not iterate on that further; however - UNLESS you USE the exploding capsule in the water bottle YOU CANT USE THE WATER BOTTLE as just a water bottle because the TOP/cute Lid, will not screw on!!!!Lastly, and the reason I AM writhing this detailed review is that YOU ( Even you AMAZON PRIME USER ) ...Even us, we CAN NOT return this Literal explosive device!!!!Essentially, Amazon ships consumers tiny Co2 BUT you ( me, us, etc) , as a PERSON, and not a company can NOT SHIP "explosive/ Co2/ flammables /Etc... as we all know through the mail... SO YOU ARE SUCK WITH a plastic bottle with not useable lid, and 20 tiny Metal EXPLOSIVES in your HOME!!!Think about it - You can just throw away fully loaded Co2 cartridges.... in the heat your garage with explode....in the cold your garage with explode.DO NOT GET THIS product it is SUPER insanely dangerous, you cant return it and you'll be responsible for 20 explosive capsules in your house.

I really like this item, easy to use. There is just the right amount of carbonation with the CO2 cartridge. I add a little flavoring or fruit and I'm all set! It's definitely reducing the number of bottles and cans to take for recycling. One downside, sometimes moisture gets between the double pane and takes days to dry out. But that doesn't affect the usefulness. I'm happy with this purchase.
