This purchase is for a single mug, not an set. It can hold about 8oz of water comfortably without spilling. The mug has beautiful coloring but significant imperfections on the interior as pictured. White rings at the bottom and speckling throughout. That said, my cat loves drinking water from this mug (a combination of the height and narrow opening make it perfect). She won't drink water any other way!

I love coffee... I love coffee mugs...and I really love unique coffee mugs. Being retired and enjoying the calm of the morning and sipping unhurried coffee is a simple pleasure. This is not only pretty to look at, the mug holds just the right amount of coffee for me. I use a mug warmer to keep the ceramic cup at just the right temperature. I wasn't sure about the fluted edge initially. The first couple of sips felt awkward, but that disappeared after discovering I wasn't dribbling coffee. The handle size is adequate for me to hold comfortably. The colors are a lovely combination, and I think the workmanship is great.

The mug is kind of thick so retains the heat from the tea I've had in it and seems to then keep it hot for a while longer than usual thinner mugs I've used in the past
