All that really matters is what your birds will eat and what they want. They all love this I get. Let's see parakeet size for one of my cockatiels and cockatiels for the rest. I. Also use other types of pellet as I don't believe one brand is Sufficient to provide all essential nutrients as each manufacturer has different amounts plus the fact that manufacturers tend to go out of business. Or change formulas leaving birds with no food whatsoever, not that they care because they don't obviously. We must be prepared for these things.

This brand of pellet is the only pellet my birds will eat. I've tried many others but none have been a hit such as this one. I oder two bags at a time and the way they're shipped is quality. They come bagged and wrapped to ensure the product remains intact as well as a good sized sticker with the use by date. I've always had great success with this product, which is why i continue to purchase this item.

I ordered bird food for our green cheeked conur. It was reasonable in cost and came very quickly.

My birds love this mixed with other food, BUT I need to mash it up first. I'll explain. An all-seed diet is the equivalent of feeing your birds fast food all the time. It fills them up, but isn't the healthiest either. ZuPreem is like feeding them all the good stuff, but my birds don't want to eat pellets. And I see LOADS of other people saying the same thing. If I put these pellets right from the bag into their feed bowl it will go untouched. However, I think I have found what works for my feathered friends... I mix pellets into a bowl with water and let the pellets get mushy. It's about the consistency of wet dog food. THEN I mix that with fresh chop. My birds love it! I make a huge batch of fresh chop + Zupreem pellets, roll into "meatballs" and freeze. I thaw out balls as I need them. My birds are getting all the vitamins they need and they are thriving! Their colors are vibrant and they trill all day. I will definitely continue to purchase these pellets to be my bird's main staple and add to fresh chop for a healthy bird food mixture.
