Applied Power
This is a wonderful transformer for supplying a constant 12v DC. It is the perfect size for the application I had in mind and though the area is dry the IP67 rating is a further bonus. For the application in mind I might have got away with one of lesser spec but the impressive output and perhaps most compelling - rapid delivery - swung it.One of our garage door lifters had gone down and I saw that simple 1-4 channel, wireless-controlled switches are available for only a few pounds delivered! The circuit in question needs a supply of 12v and as it will be always on but have a minimal load, I thought this transformer would be perfect.It supplies the 4-channel wireless-activated relay perfectly and thus far unfalteringly. The in and out leads are a little short and not easy to lengthen without joining them in some way but in point of fact this imposed a discipline on me to keep things close, tidy and neat (not my usual practice!). Please note that I am no electrician but wiring was straightforward and I soon had the garage doors working again - my wife was most impressed by my skills and then I could uncross my fingers behind my back as they worked! Excellent product, been running for several weeks now without issue.

Not totally waterproof
Bought this on Sept 2018 and installed under decking stairs, unit has blown after just over a year, will find a better product next time
