DIAGNOSTIC DR-605 IHB Fully Automatic Digital Wrist Watch Blood Pressure Monitor w/Irregular Heartbeat Indicator

I never expected to need to use one of these as in the past I've not had any BP problems, but now in my mid-70s have found it very useful indeed. Following my doctor's advice I am currently monitoring my BP regularly and it is so re-assuring to see when everything is ok and to see when I need to take things easy for a while. I had tried out a similar monitor when with a friend at Christmas which persuaded me to get my own. So glad I did. It is very easy to use with easy to follow instructions.

Purchased this on behalf of my Mother in-law. Thought the wrist version would be less complicated for her to use than the traditional arm type. I did a first test on myself and the test result compare well to what I have tested at my Doctor. Found it very easy to set up and use. My mother in-law had no problems operating it herself.Highly recommended.

Very easy to set up and use. The readings are easy to see and understand. This gadget will, either, give you peace of mind or convince you to go see your doctor. Either way, this is what you need to know. I take my readings at the same time, first thing in the morning before breakfast. This ensures continuity.

Product worked for two and a half weeks then began to show error 3 on screen. According to instruction booklet this indicates fault in arm strap. Also batteries required replacement during this time. Supposed to last for 300 readings. Well short of this figure.

I intended to use this to track my blood pressure after a high reading at a medical. Despite following the instructions I get differing results every time between something that could be plausible and a reading, which if correct, would mean that I should be dead. Don't waste your money.Update: After light usage over the course of 7 months it no longer works at all.
