Bliss is a very apt title.
I bought this as a Christmas present for my wife, ahead of going to see Miranda at the Ram folk club in Jan 2011.My wife loves it (and that alone earns it 5 stars). It's different to Show of Hands, where we have seen Miranda before and always rated her performance highly. This shows how musical she is, playing instruments other than her bass. It's a varied collection of lovely songs with a laid back feel. Ideal to chill out to after a hard day. Bliss is a very apt title.

Great CD - pity it didn't come with a free Amazon download too - can't rely on iTunes for quality.

Good buy
Really good CD, have another one of Miranda's but this is really easy listening and more jazzy than folk. Excellent

Shimmering beauty
What a discovery this album has been. Miranda's voice is so full of emotion and yet restrained and perfectly pitched. The song choices are first rate with the highlight being Don't Be a Stranger, but it's hard to pick others as all songs are first rate. The album shimmers with a beauty that is rare in much of today's music. A lovely, life affirming record.
