TEKTON1492 1/2-Inch Drive by 12-Inch Quick-Release Swivel Head Ratchet, 72-Tooth Round Head

I used this to remove stuck rear caliper carrier bolts when doing a brake disc change. I had tried before with a smaller 3/8" ratchet, but couldn't remove them. The Tekton ratchet was up to the job, and just the right size to be working within the wheel arch.

Quality ratchet, used it today and I'm impressed with the swivel head, for those loose nuts you can use it as a ratchet screwdriver, then when it gets tighter, swivel the handle down to give you more leverage and it becomes a normal ratchet.

Nothing wrong with the tool itself, but ive now ordered it twice and 3 delays later i still dont have it. The piece itself is sturdy, comfortable and gets the job done (speaking from experience of the 1/2 and 1/4 inch variants).

Great tool, use it every day. Simular to my mates snap on at a fraction of the cost....be handy if they made a 3/8 one slightly longer

Good quality ratchet. Spring ratchet maybe a little strong but should ease with time. Quick release good.Won't disappoint
