The media could not be loaded. I don't normally review Amazon purchases, but this helm deserves a review. This review was unsolicited and I purchased this helm for my son for LARP roll playing. This is a custom made helm. Item was as described, well made, well packaged and arrived ahead of schedule. It is handmade, as such, do not expect the item to be free from cosmetic imperfections. The face shield actually provides a better field of vision than a crusader style helm and the top hinge is hand rolled and more than adequate. The helm will fit a grown man and includes a leather liner. The chain mail aventail is butted links, attached to a nice leather skirt and laced onto helm with a metal cable. A quick clean, a velcro pad set and the helm is LARP ready. Son loves it. If you are considering the purchase, just do it.
