Printed alot Glow in the Dark
Printed a high amount of glow in the dark to put it through it's paces. The same filament destroyed the previous stainless nozzle. It's been running strong with PETG with minimal sticking. Highly recommend for an effective upgrade from stock.

Pricey but exceptional nozzle
Very resistant to wear and tear with use, seems to get decent thermal performance and is easy to clean.

Fit perfectly into my microswiss hot end
This fit perfectly into my MicroSwiss All Metal hot end. When I releveled the bed, it didn't need any adjustment from the previous nozzle. The hardened steel is only at the tip. I am using it to print with Glow in the Dark filament which is abrasive. It would open up a brass nozzle before the spool is used up. This nozzle is holding up to the abrasive filament. But it does want to grab the filament that's on lower layers and move it around the build plate, ruining the print. I haven't figured out if it's the filament or the nozzle that causes that.I installed it while hot and tightened it, but after a partial print with multiple failures, I noticed some filament around the top where it hits the heat block. I don't know if it oozed from there, or just got built up when the nozzle grabbed the filament and caused a blob. I heated the nozzle to a higher temp, let it sit, and tightened it down a tad more. I haven't had any oozing from the heat block, so it should be good. I have successfully printed one glow in the dark dragon skeleton and printing another. It did require about 3 failed starts before each one to get it actually printing.Print quality was good on what stayed on the build plate.

Reliable
No issues thus far in regards to premature wear. Dimensionally the nozzle fits my ELEGOO NEPTUNE printers as expected it would. I needed the nozzle for some glow in the dark filament.

Another awesome product!
Sadly I no longer have a use for the specific MK8 nozzle but I can assure you that it's just as good as the nozzle for a J6 hotend. It's identical just shorter. I put a Hero ME 7 hotend system on the 3D printer I planned to use this nozzle for so no I have no use for it but I could take it to work and put in on the older Monoprice Maker Select v2 printer as that one has seen too many hours and is the original nozzle still. I'll do that and update this review but I suspect I'll have no issues as it only prints PLA, PLA+ and some PETG filament. Can't wait to try it out. Keep up with the great products Micro Swiss! I have purchased many over the years and the quality far exceeds my expectations every time.

interesting mix of copper with hardened steel
The media could not be loaded. I've never seen a bad nozzle from Micro Swiss. So, it was a no brainer to get this .4 mm CM2 MK8 nozzle. It's an interesting mix of copper with hardened steel, helping to avoid the common challenge of hardened steel nozzles and heat uniformity and flow. This isn't a cheap nozzle but it seems to be lasting well. I'm happy with it.

Arrived used.
Nozzle was used and plugged with plastic when I received it.

(Hopefully) the best of both worlds.
While I don't do any Carbon Fiber printing, wood and glow in the dark filaments are similarly abrasive. I mostly print with hardened steel nozzles (and adjust speed and temp accordingly). This nozzle, in theory should be the best of both worlds.I am currently running a Micro Swiss Direct Drive Extruder with a hardened steel nozzle, and have the machine pretty dialed in. This was basically a drop in replacement. Just a relevel and off I went. I usually print PLA+ at 220 @ 55mm/s. Time will tell with the wear qualities of this nozzle. Very pleased with the ease of installation and ability to 'just keep going'.I will be running Glow PLA through this in the very near future and testing a drop in temperature by 5-10C to see if the bi-metal construction allows me some flexibility with temperature setting without adjusting the speed.I'm pretty sold on Micro Swiss for essentially everything, and it was nice to be able to test a higher end nozzle like this. If this nozzle makes it through a 3-5 month run without any noticeable wear, I'd put it on par with the hardened steels and will most likely be picking up some more of these. If you're OK with spending for quality, especially when the construction helps mitigate an issue with a consumables, then it makes the investment easier to swallow.
