SAS Women's Huggy Flat Sandals

i love SAS shoes and the huggy style. It provides great support, great arch support, can do a lot of walking in them. Fit is very adjustable and the leather is strong. I have many of these in different colors, wish they made a navy one again. A bit expensive is my pain concern. But as a handicapped person, these shoes are super.

This are the best footwear. I brought a pair for our Vcay and absolutely loved them., I came home a bought another pair ( different pattern).they are a little pricy but well worth it.

These are more comfortable than my other 2 pairs of SAS shoes. Very adjustable. Sturdy. Not chic, but not necessarily an old lady sandal either. Great arch support. Totally worth the price for me, since I often have foot pain.

I am mostly very content with the sandals. They are comfortable, and while they do not look like men’s sandals, Howe since I needed to order a wide size I have to admit these make me look like I have Fred Flintstone feet. They are not flattering.

These are wonderful sandals. I have a lot of issues with stability so I worry with a sandal but these give me great support, are very comfortable, and look attractive. Can’t ask for more than that.

I usually need to order large sizes in sneakers, but found that SAS sandals worn without socks I can order a true size. My feet border on Wide especially when hot, but these adjustable sandals fit just fine without showing the velcro, and if my feet do swell in hot weather I can adjust it and keep going for the day. I first ordered the tan caramel kind of color and really loved them, then ordered a second pair in black while on sale, so with any color of outfit I can just throw on these sandals and go around town. Not a sexy design, but a true comfort and high quality design that I can get 2-3 summers out of. Footbed and arch support design is perfect for moderate to high arch feet, no foot or knee pain after 3-4 hours of being active. Worth the investment in price to have happy feet and stay in a good mood.

if you can believe it, i have owned and still use the first sandal of this same style for over 20 years! they still are just a comfortable and fit perfect. would you believe me if i said the bottom of sole is hardly worn. the sole bed is still soft and smooth. so why am i complaining? my huggy has a very soft nubuck leather upper. nubuck is of very high quality. i think it is so much softer and so much smoother than suede, but it does not get a rough texture when wet. and it still holds its shape without warping or sagging. in other words these new huggys don't hug. they are too stiff and scratch on top over feet, around toes, and back of heals. also theses are shinny, mine are soft matte. i sent them back. they are far too expensive to get worse leather and there by less quality.

SAS is expensive but oh, so supportive and comfortable! I worked at a huge airport while in my fifties and everybody was talking about how great this brand was. I bought a couple pair of work shoes. This was 2001-2006. In 03, I decided to reward myself with a pair of Huggies. One of their sandals. Once you start using their shoes; you just don't want to go back to cheap, unsupportive shoes. Because there is no plastic and they are made of leather, they can go in the washer and dryer. I use their cleaner and brush, though. I have used the dryer with them. They usually last well over 2 years. I assure you that you will love them!
