Needed a nice dress up jacket for my son for a formal event. He's 6'1 and abt 150 lbs. The medium fit him well and looked really good on him. Nice buy and quality for price.

Was hesitant about buying something online that I usually get in store and tailored. This arrived yesterday and right out of the box it fit very well. Ordered the Large, I wear a 44R for context. Sleeve length is good, waist buttoned is very good. Great material and pattern. Only draw back is that this doesn’t have the traditional structure of a jacket or sports coat so it feels a little floppy or casual but it’ll still do well for upcoming holiday events.

The fabric of the blazer is very thin with no structure. It is NOT velvet AT ALL. It is 100% polyester. It will NOT work for my purposes.

My husband has broad shoulders he lifts weights..and ordered xlg I thought wouldn't fit but because fabric has some stretch actually looks nice..may order another color

This is a better quality blazer than the common costume ones. It has several functional pockets. You just have to rip the seams if you want them open (I think this is just on the lapel and front flap pockets). If you don't plan to use them, keep them sewn and they'll stay flatter and look nicer.My minor quibble with this playfully formal blazer is that the buttons came off the front. I put it in a mesh bag in the washing machine, but the bag came unzipped and the blazer came out—as did those buttons! It's hard to fault the blazer since they don't expect you to machine wash them. But I have to get out that detergent smell they arrive with before I can wear them, and machine washing in a bag is normally fine, if it's on cold/tap and line dried.The paisley jacquard-like relief in the (polyester) velvet really steps it up. I wore this out just for a blood draw—because it's fun to look good everywhere—and the phlebotomy staff was suitably impressed. Maybe I even got better service! ;)I'm 5'6" and about 125 pounds. The small is okay for me because I'm sitting all the time and wear it open (wheelchair user), but a biped my size might not be as happy with it if they want to fasten it and have a trimmer fit while upright.

I will start with the jacket is pretty cool giving a nostalgic feel for me personally. I was not a fan of the red or black due to the print on the jacket but the red, black, and blue were really nice. However, this brown pops with its color and matches with a lot of different clothing. The quality off the jacket is very nice with a smooth feel to it. I think sizing will be tricky for most as they do run a tad small and a tad weird in the sense of the sleeve and neck sizing in particular. An example would be the L and XL have the same arm and neck length. Of course, this is just an example, what I am getting at is most will need to have this coat tailored in some way, which is what I had to do. However, that does not take away anything from the jacket, it's just a weird fit. On a good note, it was made very well. The attention to detail was actually impressive all the way down to the buttons on the sleeve to the sturdy stitching to the strength of the in line of the jacket. I am currently waiting to get it back from the tailor, but from the initial try on and matching with clothes, this jacket can be worn as a casual jacket all the way up to a semi-formal event. Really, what's even better is it's just a stylish jacket and wear it how you sit fit. It's a good-looking Jacket/Blazer that has a comfortable feel and its apparent someone put time into making this as nice as it is. I definitely can recommend it, just expect to get it tailored for the proper fit.👍👍
