Matched exactly the same one as I took out of the Hotpoint BD32 with separate 2 grills. Works great.
Matched exactly the same one as I took out of the Hotpoint BD32 with separate 2 grills. Works great. Remove power from oven. Just remove the screw from front, take off back panel of oven and take of connectors (remember which cable) insert new grill and then put on connectors, screw back in from front and then put back panel back on. Power back on oven. Test, it will smoke for the first time as it burns off, leave it on for a few minutes. All done.

This was a perfect fit.
This was a perfect fit, now I have both sides of the grill up and running. Great product

Good value. Good fit. Good toast!
Bit of a fiddle to fit, but that was down to me. Works well. Saved me a lot of money. Remember to secure the spade clips before you remove the old item!

Great value replacement parts
Very pleased with these replacement grill elements. Enabled me to get even longer life out of my 15 year old oven and avoid the cost of a new one. They arrived quickly and are relatively easy to fit.

First class product
First class product delivered right on time, which considering the time of year (2 weeks before Christmas) is excellent service. I ordered 2 elements to replace the dilapidated ones in my top oven/grill. Replacing them in a Hotpoint BD42 is a simple procedure, providing you have a long Philips screwdriver, circa 300mm. It's a bit fiddly trying to do it with a short one. It took me about 20 minutes to do both.

Two adults required to lift oven out of the housing
Element as described. After taking the oven out of the housing (needs two people!) and disconnecting the mains supply (4 screws and 3 nuts), it was a simple matter to remove the top (7 screws), and the back (5 screws). There is a tray above the heater elements that simply slides out. The connections to the element simply slide off and then the element can be removed from inside the grill after undoing one bolt. Re-assembly is just the reverse process and then test. Worked first time and as expected there was a bit of smoke as the new element heated up for the first time. Looking at the grill the other element looks as if it may be on the way out so I am about to order another one!
