This thing is AWESOME!! I've had so much fun taking photos, Boomerangs, videos, etc. I love how I can take photos and videos while standing away from my phone because of the Bluetooth remote. This is also perfect for taking gym selfies and workout videos when you don't have a partner to help lol. I would recommend this to all my friends....actually I already have been. Best investment and the price is insane. I would pay double or triple for something so awesome.

I bought this phone/camera accessory last Friday and received it the next day. I used it Sunday at a festival I covered as media and it was AWESOME! I looked so legit using the Grip Dat! It gave me a more credible look while filming content with my phone. It was really comfortable to hold because of the ergonomic handle. It made the filming easier, it has great Bluetooth connection that allowed me to press record right on the handle, and it held my iPhone 7 plus nice and snug. I would wear the wrist tie and let the camera/GripDat just hang off my wrist while I walked around not filming. The monopod was a huge PLUS when I wanted to film and not hold the camera. I love this accessory and if you're a person who likes filming with your phone, you'll love it, too!! Check out the photo I took with Food Network Celebrity Chef, Giada De Laurentiis! I used the GripDat for the photo and she told me - "Wow that is really cool!"

I received my Grip Dat a few days ago and am really impressed with this product so far. I ordered it so I could take some photos with my family -- my wife was usually the one always behind the camera snapping pics and she's happy to now be included in the photo memories. We've had a lot of fun the last couple days trying this product out and have taken some great family pics. Love how durable the Grip Dat is and how easy it is to use with my phone, and also really like that I have the option to use the clip with my Go Pro mounts too. Highly recommend this product!

Love my Grip Dat! The packaging is great quality and arrived a bit sooner than anticipated. The instructions are clearly written and explained with diagrams on thicker paper, not some cheap thin paper that would be destroyed or lost right away. No app needed which is easy to set up and use. I've tried several types of selfie sticks that never felt comfortable so those sit in a box. Grip Dat is compact and easy to throw in my purse/backpack. The best part is the detachable base that can be set down without worrying about my phone falling over and using the remote to get the shot. I can take pics of my knitted socks (try taking a shot of your feet without contorting your body) by setting Grip Dat on the ground and boom, great shot. I can't wait to finish my shawl and see how that comes out!~Debbie~

So far I'm enjoying using this product! My son uses it to record his dancing and now he doesn't have to worry about running to the phone to start the video! :) I have events at my house all the time and I use this product with the tripod accessory to take pics of people at the event. Seriously! I could not be more obsessed with this! It's so easy to use and it's so nice not to have to take selfies to get in the photo! It works as a selfie stick but the mount comes off and you can literally control your photos from a hand-held remote! AND, Do yourself a favor and get the tripod!

What I liked: firm grip on phone. What I disliked: could not have a case on phone or a popsocket as it was 'in the way', would not pair with my google pixel xl2 phone- (but paired with my old phone no longer in use). Customer service from Grip place never responded to my email, and could not tell me why it wouldn't pair with my phone when I called. So, basically if it doesnt work.. it doesn't work. Offered NO other solutions. Will not be buying from that company again. Best of luck to others though.

I love love love my gripdat !Love that now I can include my hubby in all the pictures I take with my 9 month old baby boy .

Be aware that while "GoPro" is feature in the marketing, due to GoPro proprietary bluetooth, you cannot use the GripDat as a remote. GoPro just won't connect to it. This should be explained more clearly in the marketing OR the GoPro Owners should reply to my emails to clarify.Marketing also mentions "waterproof" but not sure whether it can be submerged, I'm guessing no. Submerging and Floating would be two great improvements that could be made.It's also a pretty clunky mechanism when adjust the holder, not smooth at all. They could take a tip from the Car Phone holders who know what they're doing. This also goes for the GoPro easy click mount. Maybe if I take it on/off a few times, it would become smoother. Just be careful that you don't drop the GoPro when trying to take it off the grip.
