Nice island with good storage. Love the color!
This is a pain in the ass to put together, just an FYI! If you have an electric screwdriver use it! This item arrived on time and came with instructions, they were hard to find. They were located between the box and the styrofoam. Not on the inside with all the components like you would think they would be. The island is great, love the color, very sturdy and really needed the storage space since my kitchen cabinets are limited on space and I just have a lot of gadgets and kitchen things lol. It's very sturdy and provides an extra spot for people to sit and eat. We have eaten several meals here already and it was very sturdy. Seats 2 comfortably. The barstools I bought on amazon separately. So far love it! No dings or scratched pieces were here.

Impressive!
Better quality than I expected. Everything assembled very well. The wood top is a nice touch and the engineering of the extension is well thought out.

Nice piece for reasonable money
Not going to lie, I really was unsure about how the quality of this would be but I'm pleasantly surprised. Here are my pros and cons:Pros: well packaged, seems like decent quality, rolls easily, holds more than it looks like it would. Easy to assemble, directions are all pictures, but clear and well labeled. Says it's a 2 person job but I did it alone although there are a couple of sections where another set of hands would have made it easier. Looks really nice when finished.Cons: I got the blue and it scratches very easily. I'll need to find a touch up marker of some sort because it'll definitely get scratched more with use.It takes a long time to assemble. I spent over 3 hours on it but, again, a second person may have made it easier. The "locking" wheels don't stop it from rolling at all so keep this in mine if kids will be pushing at it.Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase. It's perfect for where I wanted it and it looks lovely.

Nice solid construction when finished, I was very surprised, honestly, not for the faint hearted!
Okay, This is not for the timid DIY'er and I am a pretty good DIY'er, but this thing requires a long-term commitment to say the least. I did this over a 3-4 day period something like 1-2hrs a day. It is a bit intimidating and the the instructions were fairly good for the most part, just be PATIENT AND THOROUGH and you will get through it. It cleaned up our former butcher block area quite well and has very decent storage which my wife liked. All in all, this came out quite well.

Rolling Island purchase
This was exactly what we were looking for for our kitchen. I was looking for a rolling island for our new kitchen that I could move around to where I needed it and then move out of the way when I didn’t. This island is the prefect size, height, and come with enough storage room as well. Very functional. The island is solid and heavy and wasn’t hard to put together just time consuming in putting it together. Our only complaint was with the delivery of the package. The island was delivered by Fed Ex and the lady literally pushed it out of the truck and dropped it in our front lawn by our walkway. The box was dented and a little damaged but luckily the island was ok. Other than that we are very happy with our purchase.

In our cabin
When you need that piece to move, isn’t too big, work space folds down and a pop of color. It is not solid wood and had a few dings but it works great for us. We did not put the spice rack or paper towel holder on as we did not need those.

Get a friend to assemble this
I must say that I am very happy with the quality and design of this island. The directions are very clear and all the pieces were very clearly marked. They added 1 or 2 extra screws of each type just in case, like me, you fumble small pieces. It does come in about a million pieces though so make sure you have tools and space to lay it all out.The box was so heavy I felt sorry for the driver. I had to open it on my porch and carry the pieces inside 1 or 2 at a time. Must say it is of exceptional quality down to the smallest piece. Looks like it will last forever. Very happy with this purchase

Great Island, But Could Be Better
UPDATE: I bought some wheel blocks. Super cheap and easy fix! Like it. Limits the mobility issue I was having but also decreases the ease of moving to clean.I really like this island. The color is fantastic. I built it myself in a few hours (spread out over two nights, because I have to wait until my toddler goes to bed before tackling anything like this). Assembly was pretty straightforward and no issues with putting it together. No issues with instructions or parts or labeling.Few things that could be better for the 5th star:1. The wheels, while a great feature, don’t truly lock. Of the 5 wheels (four corners and in the middle), only two “lock” and I use quotes because those two still move quite a bit. The whole island moves easily even when locked, and in the last 24 hours I have had it up I have had to constantly move it back. It moves when bumped, which is a big deal when you have two dogs and a toddler who are always bumping things!2. The back of the island is just particle board. It SHOULD be fine, but I worry that people (read, my toddler) sitting at the counter would be kicking it and it might not stand up. The island it is replacing was much sturdier and had a solid back. So it just gives me pause with the particle board backing. Would be perfectly fine without the leaf extension out, or up against a wall. Additionally, the last step of the instructions wanted you to install white brackets on the corners of each particle board piece but the look of that was just terrible, making the brackets very obvious. Would have been ok if color coordinated with the color of the island.3. Similarly, the bottom of the drawers are particle board as well. Probably won’t be an issue, but I am used to solid and wonder how long these drawers will hold up to daily use.4. The towel bar end of my island is not level. The two pieces that hold the towel bar are not even with each other and the bar is therefore not level. Lower at the left, higher at the right. This is not error in installation, but just poorly drilled holes.I had to replace my old island which was a solid beast. I loved that this one is a little more compact and is mobile with the wheels. Makes it easier to clean around and underneath. But the poorly locking wheels may drive me crazy. The price is outstanding. I found the same island as my previous one, and on Amazon it was nearly $900. So this was much better value.
