Impressively fast laptop for the price!
Is this laptop perfect? No, of course not, but for the price it would be very hard to beat, and it is perfect for my purposes. As mentioned in other reviews, there are a couple of keys on the keyboard that are labeled with backward-facing letters, but that does not affect their functions. The backlit keyboard is very nice and crisp to type on. The fingerprint reader works great, as does everything else about the unit I received. I ordered a "Used, Like New" advertised unit for $409, and received a perfectly pristine condition machine at a bargain price, especially for a 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1235U Processor (10-core), with 8GB RAM, and a 512GB SSD! This machine is quite light and extremely fast. Even though I've only had it for a week I'm very impressed and satisfied with my purchase. Only time will tell how long this will last, but for now, I'm very happy with it.

Rubbermaid, keys R E written backwards
Amazon sent this by mistake when I ordered Acer Aspire 515, predecessor to this Vero.Overall same size and layout as Aspire 5 except this is made from recycled plastic, it looks and feel like Rubbermaid Trash can material. Keyboard keys R and E are purposely spelled backwards! Explain that to your kids. See photos.Highs: built-in speaker sound is much better than the Aspire 5, screen display slightly better. Touch pad is much improved.Lows: cheap recycled plastic maybe ok for household trash bin. Backwards keys R and E is not cool! How did this pass product development?!
