No matter what sunscreen I applied or how long I wore it, these turned purple as soon as I stepped foot outside.The instructions are clear and I followed them as stated so I am confident to say it was not user error.

Have found them to be super helpful for busy days on the park or at the pool. It's always best to try to remember to reapply sunscreen, but this is a great reminder to keep everyone protected from the sun at all times. It also comes in fun shapes!

Have tried 5 different types of sunscreen (granted I did figure out one was expired), and the stickers will not fade to clear. Have used mineral and chemical. Have used a brand new tube. Have slathered on so thick it is still spreadable, and still the sticker is purple.

I really like these UV stickers. They are very easy to apply and they change color in the sun to show that they are working.

These stickers only detect the light. It does not matter what sunscreen we use, they turn purple in the light. Huge disappointment.

Either false advertising or I misunderstood-- these didn't turn purple after a certain amount of time in the sun, but instead shortly after any sun exposure. Fun for festivals, as they really stick for days and are invisible when not in the sun. But not good for gauging when to apply sunscreen.
