I purchased this mattress for a spare bedroom that is seldomly ever used so I wasn't overly concerned about long-term comfort or durability. I opted to go with a bed in box because they are inexpensive, and I have heard fairly decent reviews about them from friends and family. Even though it was for the spare bedroom, I still wanted a decent bed in box. I did a lot of research and narrowed it down to three mattresses. Ultimately, I chose this one and boy am I glad I did. The mattress looks amazing and feels amazing! I had doubts that it would expand to 14", but it did. There is absolutely no chemical smell whatsoever. This mattress sits on an adjustable bed frame and seems to bend and flex easily when raised and lowered. My wife and I sleep on a 10K Tempur-Pedic bed and honestly this mattress looks and feels better than that one. We will need to replace our bed in the next year or so due to age and were seriously thinking about buying one of these mattresses instead for a lot less money. I would buy again.

It's a very comfortable bed. I let it rise a full two days because I know there can be a smell to the packaging that needs to air out after arrival. No smell after that. I enjoy laying in my bed every night and I have scoliosis. I don't know if it's really "helping" my back but it certainly doesn't hurt it

This mattress did not have an odor when we opened the box. It immediately began to expand . We did wait over 24 hours to sleep on it. Both my husband and I slept great. We awoke the next morning without aches and pains. No hip or back pain. Just wonderful, restful and cooler sleep! We would both recommend this mattress for any age. So happy with our choice!

Update*** after 4 weeks sleeping on it, I changed my pillow and have no sore spots and my neck feels so much better. It is a firmer matress. I think on the scale it should say, Medium-Firm. So far so good! I would recommend this. Good quality. Deep sleeping 😴--------Initial thoughts after first night:First, it's packaged very well. It's shipped, folded and rolled up. The box with mattress weighs about 110lbs, so make sure that you have help.After unboxing, we made sure and guided the cover so its even all the way around. You may need some adjusting to let it fill and align appropriately. Checking it every few hours. It took about 30 hrs to fully expand. The measurements were as it should be.After getting it on our bedframe, we have box springs and frame. Make sure that you use a nice waterproof matress pad of your choosing to keep thr mattress warranty in place as it says it has a 10 year limited warranty. We used a cooling, waterproof, bamboo cover. They run about $30-$40 for a good "Noiseless" pad.It's definitely firmer than we thought it would be. We had a Serta, Medium Plush, memory foam mattress that is about 8 years old. We have been noticing sagging with sholder and hip pain over the past year. We determined it had to be the mattress.Our new mattress is definitely firmer! However, my wife loves it. She stated that she didn't wake up with any pain. Me on the other hand, feels like it might be too firm. But, I too didn't wake up with any hip or shoulder discomfort! That's amazing.Also to note, I realize your body needs to adjust and I will give it time. Your pillows may need to be replaced to counter the mattress and your sleeping preferences. We will look into that in a week or so, should we need to.The mattress doesn't transfer hardly any movement to the other sleeper, which is a great thing! The detailed information on Amazon doesn't say that. But it does have that quality! Also, it does have anti slip rubber spots on the bottom of the mattress cover. No noticeable slipping with our box springs which is a plus!Cooling? I would say yes. Didn't wake up sweating or feel hot at all. Pleasantly comfortable temperature for both of us!So far so good! I am impressed with it so far! At 80% less cost that our Serta, it appears to be a good purchase.I will update this post in a week.

I haven't slept this good in years! Plus my back pain doesn't wake me up or hurt when I get up! The quality is amazing for the price! I was concerned the box came very damaged but they sealed the mattress really well. Absolutely recommend.
