MandukaYoga Grip Gel - Dry and Chalky Texture Feeling, Never Sticky, Easily Removed with Soap and Water - 2oz, Citrus Scent

I’ve used chalk to prevent my hands from slipping on my yoga mat in the past but thought I’d give this a try as it’s from a trusted brand. It’s more like a gel than chalk but unlike chalk doesn’t leave a nasty coating everywhere you touch / all over your clothes which is great. It’s a really light texture and I definitely felt more comfortable and confident on my mat and didn’t slip. I will definitely buy this product again and would recommend it to others. It is more expensive than products such as chalk but you can feel the performance difference.

Igual y el mecanismo del dispensador no es el mejor por el tipo de producto pero funciona perfecto, lo que yo hago es desenrroscar la tapa y con mi dedo tomo el producto, me toma menos tiempo que intentar apachurrar para que salga por el hoyito, el precio ne parece bien pues es algo que te durara y cumple con el objetivo

This works great for adding extra traction in my hot yoga classes, especially on my newer mat. But it does leave a residue on the mat and on you wherever you touch. Still recommend—just wash your hands after you are doing trying to not fall

I bought a new manduka mat and was disappointed to find that it was pretty slippery. This gel worked wonders. It only took a few weeks and I don’t need the gel anymore-mat is broken in. But it got me through that break-in period and saved me from returning what turned out to be a really great mat.

I bought this to use for yoga. It works very well for grip and is easy enough to wash off, so I’ll give the product itself a 4 star rating. However, the bottle it comes in is difficult to open and dispense the product. The cap is hard to pop open and close. After only a week or two, the product has already started to dry up and is impossible to squeeze through the cap. I have to remove the entire cap and dig it out with my fingernail……

I got a manduka mat and was sliding all over the place. Put a tiny amount of this on my hands and I did a 30 min Vinyasa flow and didn’t slide once! It’s super drying, but other than that perfect!
