Excellent computer. Came as promised and quickly.

Buena computadora. Es rápida y la batería le dura alrededor de 7 horas de uso ligero. El peso es adecuado y es un poco ancha, pero es de esperarse en una computadora que está pensada para poder ser reparada fácilmente. Yo compré la computadora de un vendedor estadounidense, por lo que el teclado vino en inglés. Las estampas en español las compré por aparte. Desearía que tuviera un puerto USB C adicional, pero los puertos son suficientes. Lo único negativo que podría mencionar es que la pantalla no es muy brillante, por lo que trabajar junto a una ventana requiere de brillo máximo y con más luz como en una cafetería al aire libre no es ideal.

Performance is good and it doesn't get hot while sitting on your lap. The fact that the case is not ultra slim and has a little more room inside to dissipate/breathe air helps with performance and keep the system running cool.The screen is bright and crisp, it's not glossy and does not have glare. It has full HD 1080P resolution.Typing on the keyboard feels comfortable, provides good keypress feel and better than other laptops that have shallow flat keys.The case and hinge feels awesome. It's not shiny, slippery and made of some recycled plastic. It's feels very good in the hand carrying around. I really love how good it feels while holding it in hand or just typing on it with the palm rest area. It's also good for the environment :-)The touchpad is responsive and fingerprint reader is accurate and fast. I am not sure if the touchpad surface will be as durable but so far it's been fine.The sound quality is average, and I wish the speakers were facing upwards. The speakers while providing adequate volume they could be better if at least they were facing up towards the user.Overall it's a no-nonsense good laptop.

After getting 2 defective laptops from Costco in one month, I decided to give Amazon a try. Acer Vero came in on time plus a bonus mouse pad. After I opened the box, took out the laptop and inspected everything, looked all good. I then plugged it in, and pressed the power button, the keyboard lit up but the screen stayed black, I was like that's weird, I waited for about 30 seconds, it was still black. I tried to turn it off, but it wouldn't, and the keyboard was still lit. I pressed and held the power button once again for like 10 seconds, still nothing, and can't turn it off. I thought I got a dead screen laptop, but the packaging looked like brand new. So I decided to let it plug in and see what happens, because if I was going to return it anyway, it wouldn't make any difference to me at all. After about 2 minutes, the screen all of sudden lit up, and the laptop finally started with the Window's initial welcome setup screen. Now I believe the laptop has been sitting in the warehouse for so long, both batteries (main battery and small battery) were dead and had to be charged up. After that, didn't have any issues. I shut it down and restarted it for several times, super-fast like those Intel EVO laptops. Decent speakers with good sound, not as good as ASUS Vivobooks, but beats HP's by a mile! Very quiet, fans don't kick in until I run video editing programs. Trackpad is very very smooth. Fingerprint sensor is as fast as my phone's. Love the exterior design, and the recycled plastic texture is really cool, I actually like it better than the traditional smooth finish. Highly recommend this laptop to anyone!

I did not know the microphone did not work until after the return date. Acer would not assist in anyway! I had to return to Amazon and get charged a 20% restocking fee
