CUTEROOM DIY Miniature Dollhouse Kit with Furniture, Wooden Doll House Kit with LED Lights (L032)

This was purchased for an 11year old who typically loves legos. We decided to try something new, she loved it! Ready to finish this up after about three weeks, two hours or less a day, she started looking at what the next room will be to build.

It was a nice challenge to put this together, the whole time i was just thinking how complex ot would've been to create the templates for all this, having to measure and calculate everything. It turned out so cute. The materials were great quality and the instructions were clear.

The media could not be loaded. Don’t mind the flickering, I have to adjust my wiring. I’m giving four stars only because the glue sent with it seemed to be dried out so I had to wing it and use wood glue (which can stain some of the items if you’re not careful) so I would get some clear craft glue if I ever do another one. I had originally ordered the smaller office option and received this instead, and although it took longer to put together, it turned out really cute. It’s definitely a product for people who enjoy putting the products together. It takes time and every item has to be put together including the tiny book and little perfume bottle. It is NOT for small children to put together but my littles love looking at it and seeing the tiny details. I also used some tweezers and toothpicks to help piece some of the items together. Overall took me about 6 hours or so (maybe more or less) but I found it fun and enjoyed the process. The quality was good, but delicate as expected, so make sure to read the instructions carefully so you don’t use too much of one item since some of products are used for multiple pieces of furniture.

The instructions are unclear, parts are missing and it is complicated. I tossed it and bought something else.

The media could not be loaded. I was able to put this one together in 2 days. I have built a lot of these, so I am faster than average. The details on this one were not insanely hard but definitely took patience. I added the little sign that says “Our Nest”, which I made from supplies I had already, not in the kit.This kit came completely disassembled. You must buy your own glue and I swear by Aleene’s Quick Dry crafting glue. I used an Exacto knife, glue stick, toothpicks for applying glue thinly, scissors, and tweezers. None of those come with the kit, so keep that in mind.The most challenging part for me was getting the dust covers on. These come in 3 sheets that you must align just right with glue. It’s a challenge.These are very small! Keep that in mind. 1:24 scale. Standard dollhouses in America are 1:12, quite a bit larger. My hand in the video shows the scale.Overall, I really enjoy putting these together. It used to take me a week or more but after doing these for 2 years, it takes me 2 nights to complete. The quick drying glue helps with that too.

I have done a few miniature sets in the 1:12 scale. This one and others in this series are 1:24. They are VERY tiny and can be quite difficult to work with. This set was also missing quite a few of the small pieces, leaving me to compromise and make up my own items. The instructions are VERY hard to follow as well, and the English is not good.If you’re looking for a stress-free, better quality kit, I would go with Rolife instead, or at least one that is 1:12 scale.
