Agent 1100 CLi Office Desk Telephone

For those looking for a corded telephone this is the best I could find. Lots of features and has a large backlit screen. Feels well made.

Desk phones dont seem to exist anymore, so you have to look long and hard to find a decent one. This isnt it. Its 'adequate', but I dont have many alternatives so I'm stuck with it.Edited: After 12mths its starting to fail. The speakerphone button doesnt seem to work much now. Doesnt transfer the call between handset and speaker, which is pretty much its main purpose, and the speaker itself is temporamental. This is a bad buy. Downgraded to 2 stars from original 3 star review.

Very poor quality. I got the phone today and had to send it back as it never worked no dial tone - the light came on but the phone would just not work

Fast delivery, great quality. The phone iteself is nice and has a modern sharp look to it. The menus on the phone are very simple. Highly recommended.

This 'phone was ordered to be used with a Plantronics Headset Plantronics Digital Binaural Headset and Vistaplus DM15 Packon a broadband line through a microfilter. I have used the headset on this line with another 'phone, which finally gave up the ghost, but with the Agent 1100 CLI initially there was a massive amount of background noise. This made the 'phone virtually unuseable to start with.I tried it with both the mains power adaptor (supplied) and with batteries (not supplied), but it made no difference. However after a few hours of use on batteries the noise has started to get much less, so I will wait to see how things go from here.I called the seller, Big Box Distribution, and spoke to David Sasson, who immediately asked if it was being used on a broadband line through a microfilter to which I replied yes. He then said that, as I bought it through Amazon, I would have to return it through them too, which is fine. He was very polite and even gave me the Amazon freephone returns number to call.This makes me think that they must know there can be a problem with the 'phone when it is used on a broadband line with a microfilter rather than connected to a PABX or other office 'phone system.The rest of the features and the design and layout of the 'phone make it easy to use and fairly straight forward to set up.All in all, a nice design let down by poorer sound quality than my previous 'phone.

Impressive phone and stunning looks. For this price there are no complaints as the phone features are generally found on more expensive phones. Installation was very easy, although instruction booklet took a little while to understand, however soon got the hang of it. The most important thing was the voice clarity and on this point I would give 5 stars. I have only given it 4 stars as the speakerphone was not as loud as hoped, as I do have a lot of conference calls. My end was clear but the client's end was having difficulty in hearing me. This is common however unless you pay significantly more for a phone. However, this phone does have a RJ11 outlet for headsets (one of the reason for buying, so once I get my headset there will not be a need for the speakerphone. All in all very happy with this phone. Would recommend it.
