Messages from the Universe: Seeking the Secrets of Destiny Paperback – September 30, 2015

I especially enjoyed the unique nature of much of the material in this book. In some ways it is hard to describe. Especially intriguing is the Naadi of India who use ancient palm leaves to read the person and the future of Craig Hamilton-Parker. I am feel informed by the Craig Hamilton-Parker rather than feeling left with the impression that he is trying to persuade me. I recommend this book.

I bought "Messages From The Universe" prior to getting to know the author based off of a suggestion from someone who's opinion I value. I was intrigued by the title and the recommendation and got myself a hard copy.With a skeptical mind I read it hoping it would give me a good idea as to whether or not he was the real deal. It can be such a crap shoot when it comes to this particular subject. I found the book quite convincing. The author makes it clear his intentions are to provide solid evidence gathered over many years of hands on research and practical experience in the spiritual realm. He managed to weave or merge Eastern and Western beliefs and practices in laymen terms throughout, something I was not expecting but found very intriguing. I have been exploring these concepts a bit further as a result.Additionally, the book is written in a way that weaves interesting stories throughout that include humor and suspense. The book delivers what it promises; messages from the universe.

This was an interesting book. It will be even more interesting for Sai Baba devotees and those who have been to India to see Sai Baba and for the Naadi leaf readings. I enjoyed his discusssion of his experience with Sai Baba, now deceased. He seems to have his finger on the pulse of good gurus and mayis coming out of India so those of you in countries and locations that can take advantage of the opportunity should go and see these people. Naadi leaves can be a plus or minus thing. Unless you get someone good you are likely wasting your money but it is interesting that such things exist and that souls from long ago had the capability to foresee the future. Parker has precognitive abilities himself and it is interesting to see what he predicts for the future.I read a book about Doris Stokes an excellent now deceased medium from the UK. Mediumship in the UK is very well established and has a different flavor than America where you are more likely to see mediums on TV and all the bad and good that entails. So he's been trained by good people. And if you want to become a medium you should look at his books telling you how to do this. I never had in aspirations in that direction but it is interesting to see all the negatives in the mediumship and psychic business just about like everything field of endeavor nowadays. We have become a world without dharma and all the negative implications that that entails. It is interesting to read about his take on the Kali Yuga and astrology. All this extreme Christian stuff about astrology being the devil's business is just a bunch of bunk. Astrology is a tool and like anything else can be used for good or bad it depends upon the intent of the individual practising it. He has some interesting points about astrology. He and his wife investigated Diana's death on British TV and it was interesting to read about that because even in the states we had such an interest and respect for Diana. I haven't gotten all the way through the whole book yet but have enjoyed what I have read.I do have to say this guy is in danger of falling into the pit of egoism. There's such a drive here to be a great communicator and a great evolved soul realizing his potential and manifesting his fabulous Naadi destiny that it gets really old reading about all that. Dial it back a bit Craig.. What will be will be. It would be nice to see him back off his obsession with his great future destiny for the reader's sake and his own sake. That's about the only negative I see in the book.This book will appeal more to those who follow eastern gurus and teachers and especially Sai Baba people. This book will appeal to individual interested in mediumship and psychic work. This book will appeal to those interested in the entertainment industry and how it interrelates with psychic and mediumship work. This book will appeal to astrologers particularly vedic astrologers.

The first half is quite interesting, though it does start to bog down. Still, recommended.

You will either love or hate this book. I personally loved it... partly autobiographical, partly a profoundly knowledgeable discourse on issues such as the nature of reality, it is a thrilling story mainly of the author's encounter with the Naadi oracles of India, but also of his encounters with various spiritual teachers and attempts to find meaning in life. The book's refreshing honesty and humour makes it stand out from a lot of spiritual books written by authors who think they are one step away from enlightening and know better than anyone else - instead, the author takes you along on his journey and his passion and enthusiasm simply sweep you along. I found it uplifting to read and was really sorry when it came to an end. Thank you Craig - now hurry up with the sequel!

i thoroughly enjoyed this book as it demonstrates in a human life the metaphysical realm!! It reminds me of Yogananda book in that Craig & Jane relate their own experiences within the framework of spirituality !!! It was wonderful to see in real life the principals espoused in Theosophy & other major spiritual traditions. Good work Craig ! You are authentic in your experiences & no way is it simply an academic & theoretical exercise but has a real basis in reality!!!👍👍👍👍

Fascinating read. Opens your eyes as to what exists out there in the world. I'm kinda of curious if the author will have an ashram built in the US.

This book left me intrigued and wanting to read more. I just ordered Psychic School and can't wait to start that.

I found this book to be a sharp Eye-Heart-Mind opener as well as an invitation for the mind to widen one's inner awareness . it has helped me to self reflect with amazing new possibilities and it's such a profound book that I recommend this voyage inside yourself without hesitation.A very well invested time and money.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book ! It was informative and interesting and provided a lot of insight into some amazing topics.

Interesting book very much worth reading

I approached this book thinking I was going to get a series of lectures that I would (a) find boring, and (b) probably wouldn't agree with. I have my own ideas of spirituality, and am already familiar with the powers and teachings of the late Sathya Sai Baba. I am also wary of books on eastern mysticism as I am totally unable to meditate---my mind angrily rebels against any attempt---and I was unfamiliar with the author, having only come to him through seeing some predictions on his website. In fact this book is a cracking good read. I don't like the self-confessed misogyny (cracks about 'women drivers' are about as entertaining to me as describing a black person by the 'N' word) but the author has been described as kind and it is clear that he is very genuine and caring, so I won't deduct a star for that. The book is partly autobiographical, with some very amusing episodes, from early episodes with a Catholic neighbour, to a stay in a kibbutz learning to grow bananas. It is also a spiritual travelogue, describing visits to India, experiences there, and giving a little background to Hindu customs and culture. Some of the Indian words and names are a little heavy-going, and I can understand readers who found this off-putting. (If you persevere, it really is worth learning more...) But the main crux of this book is about the Naadi leaves. That is an extraordinary story. Predictions written on a palm leaf about the author (and all others on earth) 5,000 years ago, including the name of his mother, father, first and second wives, and other personal information. I will leave you to judge whether it could have been faked or not. The author's Naadi leaves gave his life new direction, and a purpose which he now tries to fulfil by gaining more publicity and media attention for his work as a psychic, mystic and medium. I don't get the sense that this is for egotistical purposes, but to teach people there is more out there than their five senses can detect, and bring them comfort. By the way, I had a similar experience with Google's Panda and Penguin---I feel your pain.

This book is interesting for those who interest lies in the world of spirituality , oracle , medium and the spirit world .Well for those who are Sai devotees , they may like it and for those who is seeking the higher realm of things of the universe.Good book to read at a slow pace and not for fast reading .thksSunil
