I wanted to get our toddler a balance beam toy and was shocked at how expensive most were for what was essentially a 2x4. When I saw this one from Avenlur I bought it immediately as it was the only one I found that was both decently priced and configurable, which I figured would get us more use out of it and not be something I could build myself. We've also had good success with a few of their other montessori style toys.So far I'm very happy with this purchase. Our little guy hasn't figured out how to balance on a single beam, but because of the configurability I can make a double-wide beam and he got it instantly and loved it. The fact that this set also comes with some cool stepping stones vs selling them separately is a huge plus. Bottom line, as a first time parent trying to get his kid every cool thing I can afford, this is a good buy and a well made product

Gave this to my little guy for Christmas and it’s been a staple at playtime. We love using it in a circle or three separate planks. Stepping stones are great for extra coordination!

The balance beam itself was very sturdy but I wish it had more instructions/suggestions on how to use for a toddler.

It is super easy to play with, change the design up and safe for my toddler to walk on and get some energy out, and safe for my crawling one to crawl on and over :) staff were super easy to work with and extremely helpful.
