This product is bad. The quality is terrible. I used it to seal my brand new 2020 iMac after upgrade. It’s been two weeks now. The display just fell off last night damaging the display and my logic board. If I had the opportunity, I would sue this company for my iMac. Before I bought it I read a lot of the reviews here. However, my feeling is that quality assurance is not something they take seriously. I see that people have been successful using their adhesive; some have not. I’m a tech and repair Apple computers. This is my first to encounter a screen falling off the unit. My last repair was just about a month ago and used adhesive from a company called Lefix for a 2015 iMac and it’s very solid. I bought this because at the time I needed this Lefix delivery time didn’t work for me.

Absolute lifesaver if you have to remove your iMac display.Great product.

Screens fell down in days in two separate instances damaging computers and screens.Had to purchase brand new Mac's to replace damaged beyond repair.

Lower cost version, but some pieces tore when their backing was being removed. No quality control, this should not have happened!

Good...but to of the pieces did not line up correctly..but in the end it still worked great.

Pretty much exact fit and low price compared to most others. Fast delivery.Update: Two months later see the screen hanging by the bottom tapes and one of the two screen cables after the iMac was left at a forward leaning position overnight. Considering how hard it was to get the factory tape apart to change Ram and swap the hard drive it leaves me wondering about the quality of this tape. I removed all of the original tape cleaned surfaces with alcohol. It seems well bonded to the iMac body but was barely bonded to screen back. Could be installer error on my part although think my prep was good and I spent a lot of time pressing the screen and back together. After I felt it was definitely not coming apart but it did just because it was left on the stand but leaning forward for about ten hours. Unfortunately the sellers of these tapes don’t provide any specs so that you might compare with OEM. As I said it might be my error and as for Apple although it might make for a slick looking package why not stick to the magnetic system like on my 2009 iMac.

This product would have worked better if there were instructions. Installed them incorrectly and had to remover the screen after installation ruining the strips. Watched a YouTube video after ( should have before) and realized my error in installation. Then dropped the screen cracking it. My fault but if there were detailed instructions I would have not broken the screen.
