I filled these with sand (using an improvised funnel) and placed them end-to-end (with an 8" overlap) along a 15 foot length of concrete, in an area prone to flooding during heavy rains. They held up and kept the area behind them dry through several strong storms.They do not sit very tall, but they can hold back at least 2 inches of water if they are fully packed and the water does not have much momentum behind it. You may need to add sandbags on top of this at the points where each segment overlaps the next.The green dye on the canvas did NOT leach or stain the concrete after sitting on it for several months in all kinds of conditions. I am very pleased with this product.

This item was recommended by my neighbor. We both are down hill from the county road. Durning heavy down pours, I place these at the top of my driveway. So fr the have performed well. I especially like that the are green in color so I can store them behind a top garden and they blend in and are not unsightly.

Fabric appears sturdy and seams are secure. The ties appear to be the weak part. The ties are a little short and appear to be no more han a shoe lace.
