EXCELLANT VALUE
Had this pump now for a couple of months and is a first class product, which i use in a half barrel water feature.Unlike other solar power pumps that i have had , this has a battery back up which means will work on cloudy days and in evening. It works on a timer basis for 3 hours then switches itself off -if you want to have it on longer then just press the on switch and will work for another 3 hours, bearing in mind this is solar powered this is an excellant idea,as battery back up will always be charged and you know the fountain will actually work when you want it to.Particularly like the differant fountain head adapters to vary the spray also.A great product that does the job

Parts Don’t Fit, Poor Design and Construction
I’m so disappointed! Bought as one of my birthdays presents and was really excited to get it going. Solar panel fine and if you don’t want the fountain, lights or anything else I’m sure you’d be happy paying £39 for this but I’m not. The parts are not well made at all. The “extension tubes” split when I put them together and I’m gentle. The tubes should have connected to the pump to funnel water up to the fountain but tubes on their own are too big and with the pump tube adapter they don’t fit at all as adapter doesn’t fit tubes no matter which way you try it.To “float” the fountain and lights you get a piece of foam to feed the tubes through. The lights are tiny and per instructions float above water on the float. Not quite the effect I imagined. The only thing that I will say is the pump (without any attachments, seems to put out a good amount of flow but I wanted more. My little frogs love the other solar oxygen pump I have but needed something with a longer cable to panel for another pond that’s obscured by trees so panel had to reach sunlight. What a shame. Have tried to reach out to seller but no response. Afraid I have to return and buy something more substantial and more expensive. Thought £39 was pricey for a very small little pump. I’m not cheap but did expect a bit more than what I received.

Description should read 'solar powered light and 3 hour pump'.
I expected a solar powered pump with a 3 hour back up powered by power stored in the battery but this unit is more like a 3 hour timer connected to a pump. I wanted a solar powered pump to work in full sun and expected the battery powered back up would run for 3 hours in low light but this pump is not it! The light comes on automatically at night regardless of what time you switch it on or have it set to come on for the 3 hours.I want to see a water feature working when I go into the garden without having to keep switching it on. The position of my water feature is in shade and the solar panel needs to be fitted on a high wall to charge. The switch is on the solar unit so I will need to use a ladder to switch it on every 3 hours! I have considered using it in my pond to help oxygenate the water but I would have to reset/turn back on every three hours so for me it is absolutely useless!!!To be clear this unit can only be set to ON and run for only 3 hours but charge all day or OFF and not charging at all.

Great little unit
Excellent piece of kit. It makes my pond look very elegant. Good instructions, easy to assemble. Have recommended it to several of my friends

Good little pump !
It was up and working within an hour, we didn't use the fountain, but rigged up a pot with the water tricklling out....Great !only down side the LED light just blinked, and went out.....not to worried about that, think this is good value for money so far....Hoping it lasts the rest of the summer.

Huge dissapointment
Poorly packaged box arrived on time but with parts missing. I was assured both missing parts would be sent immediately. One arrived, the other did not. When I finally got the instructions and tried to put it together I found one part was broken. Am still waiting for confirmation of refund.

Disappointed
There were no instructions with this item on how to set it up. I assumed the solar panel would be sufficient to run the pump for a reasonable time. However even with constant sunshine it does not run for more than an hour. The batteries presumably should charge from the solar panel, but without any instructions I am in the dark.
