Even for a 5 year old. We have a similar blanket that pulls up to the neck on my 5 year old. This is only leg high. It’s cute, but not much good for actually snuggling.

My little girl (4yrs old) absolutely loves her mermaid tail blanket. Is thinner than I was expecting but it's nice to lay in whilst watching something on the sofa and is really really soft. In terms of sizing will probably only last a couple of years, wouldn't say it would fit anyone over 7/8yrd old.

When I opened this and saw how small the zipped packet was that held it, I doubted it s value. But once unopened up , it was everything it said… soft, sparkly and just right!
