I had received another set like this planet set here and was blown away by the quality. In that set it was a volcano with similar tools and a backlight included. This set has those same tools, googles and booklet that explains the different types of rocks. Although it is missing the backlight flash light you get everything else here.The map or booklet is cool and well done and the rocks in this kit are better than the other kits. Our son is a rock collector and a lot of the other sets only have 1-2 claim to fame rocks. This has a handful of different gem stones that look cool and your kids will love.These planets will probably take around ~10 hours unless you just pour water and throw them on the ground. You will want the included googles as it can make a mess and irritate your eyes if you get the plaster in them.If you get one thing from this review reread my headline. Our family has tried at least 3 kits from the big box stores and these kits listed here on Amazon are superior. I don't know how or why, but my guess is the tools and the rocks included.Your kid or kids will love them and they make the perfect gift or activity to keep them away from electronics for a good while!
