Seven Kings Paperback – 15 January 2013

The timeline has moved forward, the princes are kings, but the world is far from at rest. The histories, cultures, and people of the kingdoms are so fantastically different yet intertwined and their need for each other steadily approaches without their knowledge, but not without everyone's knowledge. The "gods" will play their eternal games with some bent on destruction and some on creation, and the kingdoms are in the middle. This story is a fantastic struggle between good, evil, and power for power's sake. The characters created are finely crafted and in them we see a broad spectrum of what it is to be human. The world is beyond expansive, it's round! But the author lets us live it's history and sense it's destiny in a way that makes this world something worth knowing and experiencing. This is a great story full of action, adventure, and intrigue - I can't wait for the continuation!

Excellent follow-on from the Five Princes. I immediately started the Seven Sorcerers. You have to have the mind set that all things are possible. Forget the laws of physics or any other "locked in stone" powers of our daily life and histories. If you can just "let go" and immerse yourself in the book, you will have an incredible magical ride and adventure. Warriors, kings, princes, queens, harlots, slaves, common folk and giants are all explored. Along with incredible sorcerers and sorceress. A wonderful read, that was a pure source of entertainment that surprised and delighted me with turns and twists.

C'mon...inconcievable overkill coupled with illogic. A clunky yarn that makes me think, "Dude, don't you notice that you're just slapping stuff together?" Doesn't make me care about any character at all. Has a way with words when he's on a roll but..........

Book#3 is just as interesting and compelling as Books #1 & #2. A great read for Magic/fantasy readers !
