A less expensive alternative brake pad set. Fit fine and stop well.

I dusted off my bike after storing it for 10 years after buying a car. Decided to start commuting to work on 2 wheels again. My brakes were contaminated. First ride was sketchy. Cleaning didn't help. They were loud and stopping power sucked. Saw these for cheap and thought why not, they are cheap enough. They fit my hydraulic M675 Shimanos just fine and boy do they stop. I don't do technical trails or anything just some NYC daily commuting. But when I need to stop I NEED TO STOP. Either to not get hit by a car or to not hit a person. Haven't used them in the wet yet and i haven't gotten them burning hot yet, but they feel promising.

I maintain several mountain bikes for my sons and needed new resin pads. These fit perfectly on the Shimano XT and Shimano SLX. They might work even on the older lower-end Deore but those brakes are still good to go and don't need replacing yet. Overall, great price, easy to install, great value.

These brake pads are smaller than the original shimano brake pads. I am afraid if I use it, I risk of popping out the pistons inside the calipers. And if you have worked with Shimano brakes before, you’ll know they use ceramic pistons and they could easily break or crack if you try to set them back in place and that would prompt a warranty claim, if you are lucky enough if your brakes are still under warranty. They look well made though. They’s just smaller than the usual.

These pads last long, and simple to install.

These brake pads are compatible with my XTR 9000 disc brakes, but the brake surface is slightly thinner than the standard Shimano J02A pad, and as a result I needed to add brake fluid to my brake lines to get the correct pull for my brakes. I do not recommend using these pads if you are a performance oriented rider. For a casual rider they may be okay.

Do not buy these cheap ass brake pads. They don't work and they are dangerous. I learned a good lesson about buying off-brand stuff from Amazon with these and I will always make sure I get SHIMANO brake pads. Both my son and I installed these and couldn't figure out why our back brakes were not working at all. Turns out these are just really crappy and when we put real Shimano pads on, problem solved. These are a waste of money.

I have a heavy recumbent trike. These are replacement brake pads. They work really well and I will definitely use them again.
