I bought these to germinate and grow Hoya seeds. They work perfectly and the clamp in grow lights are great. I was wondering how I was going to put these seeds under grow lights because I have so many started all my grow lights were being used. I do wish the lids "snapped on" to the bottom instead of just sitting on top loosely. I am very happy with them and plan on buying a couple more.

I like that these were super easy to put together and the lights are better than I expected. I thought they were just strips of led lights, but they are enclosed, like in a tube and they snap right into the lid. Excellent design, the vents snap on tight too. I am ordering one more set to start my seeds before spring and look forward to good results!

This is a very nice kit for germinating seeds. It's more durable than the ones you see in most garden centers, so it should last a while; as long as you don't step on it or drop anything heavy on it.The dimmable lights are perfect for germinating just about any type of seed and the timer function is nice too. You can also choose to have one or both sets of lights switched on. However, the dimmer and timer functions only apply to the lights that are switched on... you can't program different settings for the 2 domes.

The product was easy to assembly. I planted several different seeds and with the moisture and the lighting they sprouted within a week. Its lightweight and easy to move when I want to put the seedlings in the sunlight. It has different settings and a timer so I can add intensity or decrease based on the need.

The main thing I love about this greenhouse set as opposed to similar styles with included lights is that the lights rest on top of the domes, whereas many others I've seen the lights are integrated into the vents, meaning that they are potentially exposed to the humidity inside, which just doesn't seem good to me.But int his case, the lights are completely separate meaning that you can both rest assured they are protected from the humidity inside and use them for other things when the greenhouse is not in use.Another aspect I appreciate about these is that the seed trays are not one big unit each, but rather made up of smaller components of 3X4 cells each- four of these will fit in a single pan. The domes are tall enough to allow for some growth before removal, meaning you can keep your plants protected for longer.What I don't like about these is the way the lights are all strung together. The first click of the on switch turns all four on, the second shuts two off, the third inverts which two are on and which are off, and the fourth turns everything off again. But all four lights are wired to the same switch, meaning if you want to use just one greenhouse, you have two light bars sitting nearby as dead weight, and if you want to use both greenhouses, you have to have them near enough to each other for the cords to stretch between them, meaning you lose a little flexibility in where you can place them.The dimming works though a few brightness levels, though there only appear to be white and blue lights- no red/pink, for whatever that's worth.Finally, these came with instructions. I love them for that alone. All products should come with instructions, but sadly many don't these days. These came with instructions. That makes me happy. :)

This is an overall good seed starter kit. It comes with everything you need except the soil, seeds, water, and electricity. I've used similar kits before, and they are really making gardening so much easier! But as with the other kits I've used, this one, too, has a big design flaw. Because of how the top sits on the tray, the kit starts dripping water on the sides after a while (this is due to the greenhouse effect where water evaporates, and then droplets accumulate on the top's sides and run down). Make sure you don't use this kit on surfaces that will get damaged from sitting water (I learned that the hard way so you don't have to).
