I loved the characters so much, they were so accepting and honest about their flaws it made them seem more real, also their wrote so well and are so unique! I love protective Jonah and him and Kais Tension and banter was chefs kiss. The spice level was perfect for Jonah and Kais story.

I loved this book so much!! I love Ali so much!I read this book in one sitting. And it left me in a book hangover it was that good!I feel deeply in love with the characters and the story.I know there will be more books in the series and I just can’t wait for them to come out!If you love a sweet, fluffy romcom with some spice thrown in you should definitely try this out!It was a satisfying and amazing read :) Ali is for sure now an auto buy author :D!!

The way this book actually left me with bubbly feelings… If you are looking for something that will leave you in a good mood after reading it PICK THIS BOOK UP. Its multi dimensional and has actual in depth emotional development all while making you smile and root for the main characters. Definitely a slow burn, but it will leave you smiling and cheering by the end. I honestly couldn’t put it down once I started it!

This book perfectly captured the thoughts and feelings of someone who struggles with mental health and their relationships with friends and lovers. I loved every second of this book. So heart warming and the banter between Kai and Jonah was perfection! This book is worth the read and all 5 stars!

I love this storyline of friends to lovers, slowburn, catty and fun banter - but immersed in the pop punk/emo subculture as well as the gym community culture! As someone who is invested in both communities, and has a similar story to the FMC and MMC with my own partner this book quite literally hit the spot. Will be buying a second copy to annotate 🥰🤩

This was the most delightful, spicy read! I am dying for more. The characters felt like real, beautifully flawed people. It is so refreshing to read a MMS that feels like a PERSON and not a dreamboat foil. I absolutely loved this novel and am excited for whatever Ali Hidalgo puts out next!

🥺 this was good!I’m sitting here thinking about all that happened in this book and man my heart is just so full of emotions for Kai. What an incredible and resilient woman.Jonah truly is her counterpart. I love the balance they provided for each other and truly understood one another’s cues.

This book was different from what I usually read ; Romantasy, but I really LOVED this story!!!! Jonah and Kai's relationship!!!! It is such a sweet relationship, even when they are going through rough times, they are still there for each other! I usually don't go for friends to lovers but i throughly enjoyed this one!! I was getting frustrated with the two when they both obviously wanted each other and where fighting it , I kept yelling STOP IT JUST GIVE IN TO YOUR FEELINGS!!!! And I was screamed when they FINALLY got together! The flirty naughty teasing and banter between the two 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 and then the spice came 🥵🥵!!! This book has a good mix of hell yeahs,laughs,fluffy feels, romance (platonic and romantic) and spice which for me gets a 5/5!! I'm excited to see what other stories Ali has planned because I will IMMEDIATELY read it!!!

This book had so many emotions. Seeing the two main characters through their own eyes and each other's eye. The mental health aspect was written well, although we never get full clarity on why Kai felt the way she did. There were some parts that seemed to go too long, which is why I gave it a 4 star. The spicy scenes were very will written.

Wow glad they finally got their act together loved the ups and downs of the friendship, hoping there will be a book about B and Thalia

This was such a great book it made me giggle it made me blush and it made me cry! What else to ask for?The character's are amazing, their actions (to me at least) completely understandable. The banter is so good and funny, I feel like I know Kai and Jonah! Thank you Ali Hidalgo for making a TikTok video that led me to this amazing book!
