Beware of EK's quality control
Compared to the normal d-RGB version, the Elite has a more powerful pump, as well as an additional set of fans (so this 280mm has 4x 140mm fans). My unit had some serious QC issues, where the pump was extremely loud with lots of bubbling noise. It felt underfilled when I shook it, and it turned out that whatever EK did during manufacturing, they somehow pressurized the internals of this unit. This meant that no matter how much I tried to adjust the orientation, there were always air bubbles stuck at the pump, making an ungodly grinding noise from all the air bubbles, even at very slow speeds; I had to remove the coldplate and slowly fill back up the AIO with distilled water since the loop was underfilled. A bit of a shame, because this is one of the better performing AIOs out there, with good looking fans (the extra set of fans you probably should use for case fans, because the performance impact to having all 4 fans on the 280mm AIO is very little, if at all), and can totally handle a Ryzen 7 7800X3D.

Great for Ryzen 3700x
Keeps my Ryzen 3700x cooler than the stock heatsink and hardly has any noise, plus the RGB looks great.

Fantastic cooler for a fantastic price
When I first saw this cooler for $90, I was honestly shocked. Now that I have it installed in my system, I can safely say that EK now has the trophy for best value AIO cooler on the market. The performance is just incredible! My only complaint would be that the tubes on the block are a bit tricky to work with if you need a weird block orientation, because they rotate but only to a certain point. Otherwise, it's all sunshine and roses. Good materials, good packaging, the manual is actually helpful and has some good details, and the pump is basically silent. If you hear some bubbles or gurgling for the first few minutes of operation, or on the first boot after installing - that is 100% normal and will (should) go away after a little bit. Only a single 4-pin PWM cable coming off the block for pump speed, and obviously two 4-pin PWM fan cables, but that's it. Simple, and easy to install (unless your case is tiny like mine, then it can get... interesting.

Despite the RGB setbacks... Extremely Good!
A very well built cooler. It comes with 2 fans by default, a full range of mounting kits for both AMD and Intel and an easy to understand setup for both platforms.Pros:Compatible with all modern platforms (minus Threadripper, and lga2011 or other Xeon sockets)Sleek clean designFans provided with splitter adapter2 thermal paste options available when newCons: (mostly cosmetic)RGB is automatic on when installedNo on block RGB controller or standalone unitNo adapter for the RGB headerMy machine is mainly a CAD workstation, it has no windows and isnt built for interior aesthetics, it also only has 12v RGB headers on board which this is not compatible with. Having the spill of rainbow rave lights billow out of my case at night like a tiny daftpunk concert is going on inside is not really something I find desirable. I hope in future generations of this product EK provides an RGB controller with this as it will be extremely useful for those who are like me or even those who enjoy the mini rave aesthetic. In conclusion. Even if you dont like the RGB thing, this is a very well built and reliable product. I strongly recommend it simply because of its performance quality.
