It does the job adequately.The lid is screw on but does not go on super easy. Despite this, credit is due for its rubber ring seal; it holds up and does not leak. It does not look as well made as the picture, but it is not poorly made either. Some slight aberrations in molding leave it ever so slightly warped in several spots. It serves the advertised purpose, and for the price you could do much worse. It is definitely hand wash only, and I think a single dish washing cycle might mess up a lot of the paint. As long as it is hand washed though, it holds up decently well. I do not think you would get it mixed up with an actual lenses, but someone looking at it from across the room might!

Gave these as gifts to the photographers for our wedding. They were very pleased to receive them.

This mug replaced a larger one. My co-worker loved it so much I bough her one in black, so we could tell ours apart. I'll propbably buy a larger size soon.
