Boy's Action Movie Was Never Better
After the wonderful Alien, James Cameron would have been forgiven for producing a down-right awful sequel, nothing great should have been expected, which makes this film even better. The 'boy's action genre' rarely produces more than big guns, loud explosions and bad acting. Every rule has an exception, this is the exception. Going into greater depth on subjects such as the company conspiracy, the intelligence of the creatures and exploring new themes such as the Alien Queen and the nest, this film almost matches the greatness of the original. Technology had advanced in the seven years since Ridley Scott first chilled our bones and so Cameron could show the beasts in more detail without letting the audience in on the fact that this was just a bunch of guys in rubber suits. The aliens move fluidly and strike swiftly in large numbers. The music is one of the best scores ever recorded for a movie and adds tension as the soldiers fight for their lives in a situation that they cannot hope to win. Ripley plays the perfect heroine and proves herself as hard and deadly as the soldiers and develops the .. image that would spread into the next two movies in the classic scene when she battles the Alien Queen. James Cameron may not have been able to beat Ridley Scott in terms of directing, but he does his best and comes close, and for that we must be thankful. He also showcases the aliens well and certainly we see more of them, especially at the end of the film, but they maintain that horrific image. The action is first class, especially the scene when the aliens attack them from the ceiling. All in all, this is one of the greatest action movies of all time, with fantastic scenes and clever direction, Aliens would become a more than worthy sequel to Alien and remain fresh in our minds 15 years later. If only the series had stopped there!

This time its war
Most of the time sequels suck but Aliens surpasses the original in every way.Sigourney weaver is perfect as she reprises her role as one of her most famous characters. We even have the man behind "The Terminator" (James Cameron) directing Aliens. The Film will probobly bore you after you have seen it 50 times.Alien was good but Aliens was better. The Film may have a very disturbing opening but that dosen't stop it from being the best out of the lot.

A none-stop session of exhilerating violent action.
An interesting and violent sci-fi adventure that centres around lt. Ripley(Sigourney weaver) and a group of US Space marines who travel to a colonized planet to rescue the colonists, but what they find instead is full blown horror which is beautifully shown by great special effects of the aliens, the awesome, endless weaponry and the colony structures on the planet. The action is great two from the marines blasting their way through the relentless aliens and to lt.ripley battling the alien queen at the end. An all round great film that will more than satisfy those inetersted in sci-fi, action or horror.

ALIENSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
What can I say about a film that hasn't been talked about already, to put it simply the film is a piece of art a master piece if you will. I have the special edition version on VHS of course, so there's more to the story then you know because if you read the dark house comic called Aliens:Newts Tale, the special edition make is actually just like the comic book, it starts of from where Newt's bantering on to her dad about when they'll go home and all the rest. I advise you to get the special DVD edition movie, it gives you a more in depth study into why the LV4-26 lost communication with the outside world. Well all I can say is GREAT, SCARY AS HELL, ON THE EDGE ACTION AND THOSE ALIENS REALLY RULE!

The Best Alien Movie
Out of all the Alien movies, James Camerons Aliens is now doubt the best of the 4. The story is great, the actors are spot on in their roles, especially Sigourney Weaver who gives us an effective and realistic portrayal as Ellen Ripley having to battle with beastly aliens for a second time. This is a great combination film of Sci Fi, Action and Horror so if you like these type of films, you'll like this.
