I was using a VGA to VGA connection for my monitor, then decided to use this to get HDMI to VGA. Worked great and I even feel the colors are better/not washed out like they were. I suppose it could also be because I switched pc's, but none-the-less, this cable works flawlessly. Thank you!

I've had to purchase and return several similar converters this week due to malfunctioning. This item, however, actually produces a quality VGA signal from each of the HDMI output devices I tried it on (Xbox One, SuperNesMini, and USB-C docking station dongle). I am ordering a second for my laptop bag and would definitely recommend to someone needing this type of adapter over the cables and boxy units that unfortunately just don't work.

This HDMI to VGA adapter worked very well when I connected my laptop to a monitor. My laptop screen was broken and I used this alternative and I must say, I have no regrets.

I had been searching everywhere for one of these and was coming up for a loss when I finally found this one. I don't know why they don't make the VGA cords without the screw thingies on one of those cords for laptops...but this thing works really well. It took me less than 5 minutes to hook it up and get it going. Have been using it all week with no issues and most of all the stupid VGA cord doesn't fall out of my laptop anymore!
