Moka Stove Top Coffee Maker Replacement Spare Kit: Handle, Lid Knob and Valve (2 Cup Coffee Maker Kit: Handle L7.5cm x W3cm x D1cm)

Replacement handle is a poor fit for my bialetti 2-cup moka (the part that inserts into the aluminium slot, does not reach far enough, meaning the hole you have to drill into it for the little fixing bolt, is not centered, rather it's right at the edge of the plastic and i expect will fail at some time in the future), hopefully not while I'm pouring. Also the existing fixing was horribly difficult to remove, I must have hit my fingers with a hammer more than 10 times. The hole is so small i had to try various different nails, and finally I found a broken drill bit that was thin enough AND strong enough to hammer out the existing fixing with. All in all i spent so much time, I wish I'd just bought a new bialetti.

Good value for money, but be aware that a) you have to drill the hole in the main handle and b) the pressure valve is of the 'solder' type rather than a sprung one, so once it fails it has to be replaced. Also, the screw for the knob on the lid has a head that breaks up quickly (but this is also true of the Bialetti original) and the knob is not threaded, so it can be a challenge to screw it tight. I ended up having to put a washer in. .
