Good for the money but not without some (fixable) issue
I use these for my cat and fish food. They work well for the money but the top isn't a tight fit. There is a rubber seal between the black lid and green top but there isn't a seal between the top and the rest of the body, and the injection moulded latches between the body and top aren't strong without a bit of bodging. That being said for the money it's decent and you can make it better as below. To fix the lid/body issue I boiled a kettle and poured the scalding water around the short sides of the black body, then pressed them outwards and cooled with cold water. This just makes the top a little wider providing much stronger contact with the lid, though still not airtight. When the cat food runs out I might consider using some silicone to provide an airtight seal.I'd like to see the manufacturer provide a tighter fit between the top and base, and potentially either make a gasket connection like the lid, or add an option with some plastic cement for those who wish to do it themselves.

Useless. Not fit for purpose.
Purchased two bins. They are of incredibly poor quality, flimsy construction - the cardboard they came in might well be stronger than these things. It's difficult to get the lids to loosely sit on the top of the bin let alone to fit in place. Bizarely, the scoops are solid and look as if they could be quite useful. These containers might suit somebody as a decoration but for any practical use they're not fit for purpose. The 35 litre Curver container is more than twice the price, and having seen these things I can understand why. However, I'm now very tempted to just get a couple of Really Useful Boxes of a suitable size. Although I've not used them for storing food before, I've happily used various sizes for many other purposes for years and they have never let me down. They're, you know, really useful.

Does tbe job!
These are perfect for storing dry pet food. They are not made of the most solid material, so don't try and move them once full. That said, I have left mine in the garage and positioned them so I don't have to move them as they are heavy when full! My cats can no longer claw through the plastic cat food bags previously bought! Would highly recommend.

Really bad
I bought these at the end of April. They are really flimsly but I thought I would give them a go. I really wish I hadn't. Every time I opened the lid the whole top came off. It says it holds up to 15kgs of food and I emptied a 12kg bag of dry dog food into one and it split.

Terrible quality. Poor service too. AVOID!
AVOID!Ordered 4 of these and 2 of them were damaged and pushed inside the other 2. The plastic is very thin and if you try to lift it with anything in it they just disintegrate. And the most irritating thing, when you go to open the flap lid the whole top pops of. And the seller isn’t in much of a rush to send me out replacements for the damaged ones ether.

No more mice
Advertised as holding 15.5kg, I fitted a 15kg bag of Dr John in, still in the bag, but had to empty the bag of James Wellbeloved into one and could only fit in about 13.5kg. However they are very sturdy so I hope no more mice will get into the food as they are stored outside. They are a good price.

Excellent value product.
Functional and well suited to its purpose of bird seed storage. Easily holds a 13kg sack. Totally proof against rodent entry.
