• oops, I fell in love with a demon •
| fantasy romance | paranormal | romantasy | quest | unique voice | unique perspective | single POV | HEA | quest | spicy | dragon | easy to read | humorous | fun | bayou | rom-com |I remember seeing this series in stores and thinking “hmm, this looks interesting”. Who knew it would be exactly my cup of tea?This book was so much fun and also so unique. I am a huge lover of quests and romance stories that revolve around a quest.I think another thing that really set this story apart was not only the unique voice of the main character, but also the unique setting. It was giving the princess and the frog but make the frog a deliciously dark and sexy demon.This book was an absolute joy to read from the story to the romance. It was packed with humor, absolutely overflowing with laughs. There really wasn’t a single thing I didn’t love.Highly recommend this if you’re looking for a humorous fantasy romance.Happy Reading, Friends xx

Love Kimberly Lemming
***.4.0 Stars***Overall,Kimberly Lemming has a way of writing that always leaves you with a smile. This is the third book in this series and follows a dragon and a human. It is a quick read that will leave you kicking your legs giggling. The overall plot was fine, but it really shines in the characters and world. The imagination Kimberly has is superb and it is fun to read about the world she has created. I love the cover art, it screams joy and laughter. I recommend this book series to anyone who wants a mostly cozy sometimes violent love story.

wonderful and fun
5 stars - I loved it!This book was just what I needed right now. This was a delightful fantasy adventure that was hilarious and steamy. Spice trader Cinnamon’s quiet life is turned upside down when she accidently rescues a demon who isn’t the mindless beast that her supposed goddess preaches they are. Now she is on an adventure with him to stop the supposed goddess and rescue the demon race from her spell.Like I said, this was a delightful and hilarious adventure. From the very beginning I was amused by Cinnamon and Fallon’s story. Cinnamon is a woman who doesn’t want to be an adventurer but has no problem kicking ass when forced to. I really loved how snarky she was and how she didn’t automatically give in to Fallon, but also didn’t deny that she felt something. She just admitted that she needed time, which is reasonable. Also, drunk Cinnamon was hilarious and I couldn’t stop laughing at the cheese queen.Fallon was an intense character. He is a demon who can shift into a dragon, which is cool. I loved how honest he was from the beginning about wanting Cinnamon and how territorial he got over her. Fallon and Cinnamon’s relationship started a bit slow with Cinnamon not trusting Fallon but once that passed and things got serious it got quite steamy. I really enjoyed their relationship, especially the banter between these two. It was just so much fun and a great blend of adventure, humor, and romance. It was just what I needed right now and I can’t wait to read more of this series.Overall, this was a wonderful surprise. I can’t wait to read the next book and see Brie the cheesemaker fall in love. I also love how on the nose the names of these characters all are. Lemming really has done a wonderful job creating a fantastic world with fun characters that I can’t wait to read more about.TW: alcohol consumption; death of a sibling mentioned; attempted mugging; assault; violence; death; slavery;

Millenial Lingo Doesn't Fit in High Fantasy Romance
I received this as an ARC on Netgalley. This book was cute, but the millennial lingo took me out of the story at times, especially in the beginning. I don't want to hear modern slang, even in a cozy low stakes fantasy romance. If you're creating a high fantasy world, please don't have "Pillage and Chill" as the name of a bar, I don't want to think about Netflix when I'm trying to imagine a made up charming village. That may not be a annoying to some people, but to me, it was just weird. The naming convention was inconsistent as if the author couldn't decide what they were trying to do. Why did you name all of your MC's family after spices and then have the dead member named after a fruit? There also seemed to be a lot stereotypes for people of color that felt like they toed the line of being not ok. The male MC literarily says "Foolish rabbit" as in "Foolish rabbit, tricks are for kids" and it just took me way out of the intimate scene. The author also couldn't seem to decide where this book takes place, at times it gave "deep south of America" and then all of a sudden there were hyenas and gazelles. Sometimes, I couldn't decide if this truly was high fantasy, or if it was supposed to be set in modern day with demons and werewolves, etc, so inconsistent were the setting vibes. Overall, I finished it, and the romance was a cute typical feel good romance with well written spicy scenes. I'll probably read the sequel to see if the author smoothed out her writing and also to continue the story.

Hilarious, sweet and hot
I give a spicy level 4/5 because I'm a dark romance lover. This has great sex scenes but nothing over the top. The comedy, sarcasm and whitey banter kept me intrigued. This is a great fast read.

3.5 stars
3.5/5This book is for the fans on insta-love. It was nice and fluffy, with no real drama. If you’re into comically written books, this romance will be up your alley as well. And it’s very spicy!I liked this book for the sake of reading a fantasy romance that didn’t have lots of angst or drama. Like I said it’s fluffy. However, we lost some stars because the humor was a tad bit immature for me and I like to actually see characters fall in love with each other. I like witnessing the ups and downs and coming together after resisting the temptation. This book was kind of just like - book we’re a couple. It was a fun read and I will probably read the next one but this definitely isn’t a deeply written sonnet or impactful romance connection.

Sim, a mãe dela escolheu nomes ótimos!
