This is a High Quality Stainless Steel Nickel Free Bead Tweezers. There is a groove on each side of the pliers to hold the balls, beads, gems or pearls and/or small objects hard to grab with fingers. This saves you time and make your work easy. Total length of the clamp is 5" (inches).

Way too large for small beads
There are multiple problems with this:1. It is good for beads used with ~6ga or larger jewelry (in other words, for beads large enough to not need any kind of holder), not for beads commonly used with helix, tragus, lip, etc. piercings. I thought previous reviewers may have been too picky, but nope.. they're exactly right.2. You need to squeeze it to hold the beads, or wrap the holder with rubber bands. I knew this when purchasing and wrap it with rubber bands to hold the beads, but this should be manufactured to be sprung close by default so it actually holds the beads so you can hold the bead comfortably with one hand while using ring openers on the jewelry with your other hands.Save your money; give it a miss.

Way too big
Way too big to be useful. I bought this to use for my facial piercings, I have long nails and have trouble holding the small round ball that twists onto the end of the post and I thought this would solve my problem but big fat nope. This tool is way too big for that and is useless, I can't imagine how big the jewelry must be for this tool to actually be helpful. It was a complete waste of money.

requiring a great amount of force just to hold a ball in ...
The metal used is WAY too thick, requiring a great amount of force just to hold a ball in the tweezers. It's very easy to drop the captive ball with these, due to the effort required to grip.

Worked Perfectly!
I got my tragus pierced almost a year ago. I love the way it looks but have been frustrated with trying to change it out. A stud with a ball inside the ear was just impossible. Got these tweezers and was able to change it in seconds! Highly recommend it for anyone with this piercing or who just has a hard time holding on to the ball.

Needs work to be a good product.
The captive balls move in the tweezers, there needs to be some kind of gripping material. Also, it is too big for small captive balls, you can't even get to the divots. Could be a great product but needs some tweaking.
