Sprig Toys Bio-Composite Eco Dirt Bike

This toy seems durable and my kids play with it at the beach, but the design is disappointing. The man falls easily out of the bike, and the helmet falls easily off the man, making the whole thing pretty frustrating. The helmet even has a little ridge that is obviously meant to snap into a groove around the head, but the helmet is way too big for this to work. The helmet is clearly made of a different material than the rest of the toy (no wood flecks, more rubbery) so maybe they didn't account for differing shrinkage in their product molds - though that doesn't explain why they didn't make the man sit more securely in the bike. We have rubberbanded the man into the bike and are not returning it, but only because we opened it on my child's birthday and can't now take it away.Also, if they really wanted to make the design better, I think they could make the bike able to balance upright on it's own. The wheels are fat enough, but too curved, so it does not stand up. Also, colors are not as pictured, but that doesn't bother us.All in all, I wish I could return it, but as it is I'm glad we only bought the little motorbike instead of the seaplane or sand truck. I had high hopes that this would be the first of several Sprig toys for my kids because I like their general ideas, but now I don't think we'll be buying any more unless I see that they've fixed their design/manufacturing issues.

This little biker guy and dirt bike are incredibly cute. I like everything about it, except for the fact that it can't stand up on it's own. It just seems odd that they would make a child's toy like this that just tips over, makes it hard for little hands to put the guy in the bike and really play with it.

Goody bag toys. I gave each kid that came to my sons 3rd birthday party a sprig fred action toy. It was a big hit with the boys. Not to feel left out I got my son this one, the dirt bike. Pretty cool for a eco toy. It was even being passed along by parents who wanted to change over to a eco friendly way of living. Very durable, something i love about sprig toys. This one was the winner over the sky diver fred, skate fred and the ocean diver fred. The kids played with them for hours which help them forget about the birthday cake.

My son likes a lot but the guy does not stay on the bike- fustrating to play with over time.

My son loves to rev my husband's motorcycle before he heads off to work, so I bought him his own. Love that it's "green". The little man fits in his bulldozer of the same brand. My only complaint is that the helmet seems loose, and comes off too easily.

This chunky cycle was for my almost three-year-old to deter him from his older brother's motorcycles. Now his older brother wants to play with his toy!

This product is very well made and durable. I bought this for a classroom and I think it will hold up!
