I have gone through several of these, including the USB variety. They made no difference to the coffee.I saw this product on amazon.co.uk and the seller mentioned that it had received a 4.5/5 rating on Amazon Germany. I decided to give it a go and it works very well. Finally! It has been a frustrating journey and lots of time wasted on junk products with junk promises.My first test was to simply put cold water into a ceramic coffee mug. The coffee mug did not have a flat base; the typical base with a concave inside - so only the rim on the bottom of the mug was in contact with the hotplate. It warmed the water up to a hot temperature, but not too hot to drink.Tested it on my first coffee this morning and it kept it beautifully warm, almost hot, right to the last sip.You can buy this product with confidence.

I've had a few mug warmers, previous ones failed because the switches broke (I bodged repairs). This mug warmer has a nice rocker switch and seems very sturdy.Definitely keeps you coffee hot and I guess that my only minor negative. Keeps your coffee REALLY HOT in the mugs I use, personally I'd prefer the surface temperature down a few degrees but still a great product.

It arrived earlier than stated. It’s simple to use.I have been working for Nhs for many years and cannot remember ever having a cuppa at its optimum temperature. You make cuppas and never get to drink anyone of them. My sister has tried others and not been happy.This one I purchased for her and so delighted I got myself one.Never been happier at work. It remains at the optimum temperature for hrs. Cuts off when it should.I will be buying another one.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do.

Keeps coffee/hot drink at a great temperature. Appears well made and with any luck will last a few years. (South) Korean made so hopefully made UP to a Decent quality, rather than down to a (eg. Chinese) price….Time will tell, but I’m optimistic!

This is a nice size hot plate, accommodates our big mugs no problem. Arrived in good time. Took one star off because it came without the GB plug as promised in the description. Otherwise it would be 5 stars.

Mine used every day keeps my drinks really warm for as long as I need, in the office, sun lounge, bedroom, and bought as a gift so pleased to have a spare now they are unavailable.Does not switch off if forgotten for things like when visitors call but never dried up that’s the only downside.If used on the left side the on off switch needs care for hands if you lean over the top to turn off it gets hot.

Habe immer das Problem, dass ich meinen Tee vertieft in die Arbeit völlig vergesse und dieser kalt wird. Dieser wird dann regelmäßig weggeschüttet, eine unnötige Verschwendung. Dieser Aufwärmer schafft es aber sogar, kalt gewordenen Tee (oder Kaffee) wieder auf eine angenehm heiße Trinktemperatur zu bringen. Das geht sogar mit Tassen, die einen nach innen gewölbten Boden haben (was sowieso bei fast allen normalen Tassen der Fall ist). Allerdings braucht das Teil ein wenig, um warm zu werden oder kalten Tasseninhalt aufzuwärmen, schätzungsweise 5-10 min. Aber damit kann ich leben. Die Bedienung ist super leicht. Es gibt einen Ein/Aus-Knopf, das heißt, der Stecker muss nicht ständig aus der Dose gezogen werden, was sehr bequem ist. Ich denke für diese Leistung ist der Preis angemessen, vorausgesetzt, der Tassenwärmer hält lange.

Wir haben die Hottops jetzt seit einigen Jahren im Dauereinsatz.Die Temperatur ist perfekt für Kaffee und Tee, aber ich wärme auch Schüsselchen vor, damit z.B. Eierspeisen länger warm bleiben. Sie schauen nett aus und brauchen nicht viel mehr Platz als die Tassen selbst. Auch der Schalter funktioniert bis jetzt tadellos. die Tassen stehen auf einer ca. 2mm dicken Silikonschicht - diese lässt sich leicht mit Alkohol reinigen.Ich würde nur empfehlen, die Hottops auf eine Unterlage zu stellen, und nicht direkt auf Holz, da es doch auch nach unten eine gewisse Wärmenentwicklung gibt. Möglicherweise könnte sich Holz da mit der Zeit etwas verfärben...Absolute Kaufempfehlung.

Es wird und hält Tassen warm, erhitzt nicht. Der Grund für meine aktualisierte Rezension ist: UNTER DARUNTER WIRD DAS GERÄT SEHR HEISS, ALSO NICHT OHNE TELLER VERWENDEN, VORSICHTIG! ERST WAR ICH BEGEISTERT.

Habe wegen des Preises länger gezögert, bin nun aber super zufrieden mit meiner Entscheidung. Das Gerät ist super durchdacht und konstruiert. Langes Stromkabel, An- und Ausschalter, wirkt dezent und edel. Eine Gebrauchsanweisung in deutsch, die nicht in allen Sprachen dieser Welt dick und lästig ist. Tee oder Kaffee bleiben wunderbar warm und werden es sogar wieder.Die kleine rote LED ist so leuchtstark, daß man sie von weitem auch noch sieht und das Ausmachen nicht vergessen kann.Auch Getränke in Tassen/Töpfen mit konkavem Boden können die Wärme weiterleiten (wer hat schon Töpfe mit plattem Boden?)TOP-Gerät, würde es wieder kaufen.Last but not least: Meine Rechner werden nicht mit noch einem USB-Kabel vollgestopft.

aber leider nicht, um Getränke von Grund auf aufzuwärmen (wie hier berichtet wurde). Wollte meine Milch in der Firma nicht in der Mikrowelle aufwärmen, weil sie dann nicht mehr schmeckt. Habe mir eine kleine Emailleschale gekauft, um die Milch aufzuwärmen. Gedauert hat es dann ca. 30 Minuten, bis die Milch einigermaßen handwarm war. Für mich dann nicht brauchbar. Design ist toll. Die Platte wird auch richtig richtig heiß. Das CE-Zeichen entspricht nicht der Vorgabe - deshalb für mich fragwürdig, ob das Produkt überhaupt eins hat. Die Anleitung liest sich sehr lustig *hihihi*, wurde nicht durch deutsche Muttersprachler übersetzt. Die Rückabwicklung hat einwandfrei funktioniert, ich habe sogar meine Portokosten wieder bekommen. DAS nenne ich mal TOP (hätte ich jetzt ehrlich gesagt nicht erwartet). Durchmesser der Platte oben 8,5 cm, mehr darf die Tasse oder Kanne nicht haben, der Rand wird durch einen überstehenden Silikonring begrenzt.
